Victoria Works was built in 1913, and was originally designed as one of England's first cinemas. It remained the White Palace Cinema until 1934 and since then the building has been occupied by various businesses. The Strada restaurant chain selected the Victoria Works Building for their new Harpenden branch in 2010. Clement’s EB24 steel window range created the stunning feature curved windows for the front elevation. The wall of the front elevation was opened up to insert the new windows that flood the restaurant with masses of natural light.
