Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts

The Attenborough Centre is an busy multipurpose space hosting up to eight events each week. Within its unique circular auditorium, Audience Systems' Airstages have been used to create a height-adjustable floor which can be flat, or can be tiered in a number of different configurations. The labour-saving hydraulic Airstage modules are unlocked and smoothly lowered from the top using removable handles. “The difference from the old system is huge. A crew of three can now transform the space in less than half the time it used to take a crew of six – and it will only get quicker.”
