Ada College London - Rooftop Street Furniture

Ada College, the National College for Digital Skills based in central London, selected WoodBlocX for its rooftop project following a recommendation from Eco Green Roofs, a landscape contractor familiar with our system.

A range of pre-designed rooftop street furniture kits were chosen to enhance the space. The modular WoodBlocX system was ideal not only for its contemporary aesthetic but also for its practicality as the components could be easily transported via the goods lift and installed efficiently on site.

WoodBlocX delivered a tailored solution comprising five pre-designed street furniture kits, with one unit custom-sized to fit the space precisely.

We revisited this project a few years after installation to monitor the ageing of the WoodBlocX. When first installed, WoodBlocX is a golden brown colour which naturally fades to a silvery grey colour over time as can be seen in this project.
