Acoustics of the sports room of a public school improved with acoustic textile wall coverings
OVERVIEW
The sportsroom needed to be renovated, the acoustics had to be corrected.
If acoustic panels are often the solution to improve acoustics within a room, acoustic wall fabric appeared to be the best option for this schools sports room.
Decoration : a patchwork design was created with the choice of 4 different colours of the TEMPO fabric "LA" Maille 3D (width 1450 mm).
Acoustic correction : 25 mm absorbent was added resulting an acoustic performance between aw 0.65 and 0.70 (fabric + wadding + 25 mm absorbent).
Both installer and city council representatives (client) are highly satisfied with the result.
