Yeoman Shield Quick to Install During Half Term at South Queensferry School

South Queensferry School received an express service from Yeoman Shield to complete staircase wall refurbishment works during the February half term holiday period.

With the requirement to protect 3 staircases and stairwells, Yeoman Shield were able to facilitate the supply and installation of 375 metres of FalmouthEx wall protection panels to suit the 4-day window allowed for the work to be carried out.

Fitted to 1250 mm high along these areas, in 3 different colours to identify different departments, Yeoman Shield experienced installers were able to accommodate faultlessly the rake angle of the staircase walls, as well as removing and then reinstalling the original handrail when the panelling had been completed.

The implementation of wall protection to school interiors prevents impact damage caused by the movement of pupils, staff, bags and equipment.
