Replicates of post office stone on new house build
OVERVIEW
We originally got the inquiry for cast stone product for this new property through an exhibition stand we had at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon, and were then subsequently commissioned to go ahead with the project in August 2010.
The client required window surrounds, quoins, ashlar walling blocks, copings and a dentil course around the top of the building. One special requirement was that the stone had to replicate that of an post office in Whitney, Oxfordshire, which the architectural design of the new building would also broadly follow.
