SolidRail is an aesthetic guardrail fully conforming to BS 13700:2021 for permanent counterbalanced guardrail systems, consisting of narrow uprights with top and mid handrails positioned on the inside, making the system visually minimal, sleek, and stylish. The system can be completely freestanding on the roof, meaning no penetrations into the waterproofing, alternatively, ends of runs can be fixed to suitable background such as structural concrete/masonry walls.

SolidRail is designed to be installed on areas of roof that require access for general maintenance to items such as plant and Solar Arrays. The system can be used to create a safe area on a roof to denote access to a specific location, or can be installed to the full perimeter, providing access to gutters, RWO's and other items such as lightning protection.

Each installation has a Wind Load Calculation carried out, specific to the location and height of the building, ensuring that the system remains safe and in place throughout its lifespan.
