Application
The Gorter RHT roof hatches in custom dimensions combine a robust construction with excellent insulation values, providing safe access to flat roofs for various applications.
Typical applications include:
- Rooftop access for HVAC systems, window cleaning installations and roof inspections
- Inspection and maintenance access for solar panel installations
- Access to telecommunications equipment and antenna installations
- Personnel access for building envelope maintenance

RHTD roof hatches with two lids are supplied with a two-point locking mechanism with padlock preparation, operated from the inside. Available in 2 versions flat and sloped.
Also as a hoisting hatch
The custom-size roof hatches, with single or double lid, offer practical and safe access to flat roofs for maintenance work. But they can also be used as material transport or hoisting hatches. The hatches can be used for flat roofs with a maximum slope of 30°.
Alternative roof hatches
The RHT roof hatch is also available in bespoke sizes with a single lid. For projects with specific requirements or demanding environments, Gorter also offers Standard roof hatches, glazed roof hatches, roof hatches with extreme insulation values, and fire-rated roof hatches.
Description
Gorter removable roof hatches are fitted with two or more lids depending on the dimensions. The removable roof hatches do not have hinges but can be lifted with a crane by means of the lifting eyes (4 per hatch). When the lids are removed, there is a clearance in the roof through which material can be brought inside. The removable roof hatches can be used on flat roofs.
