With Biodiversity Net Gain becoming mandated law in January 2024, and with the Urban Greening Factor applied to many cities across the UK, this presentation aims to highlight how green infrastructure could be applied to the urban environment to achieve these targets.This presentation will look at the various methods of applying green infrastructure ie a green roof, a modular living wall system, a Green wall (climbing plants), Bioswales and Rain gardens. With each of these items we shall address the construction, planting, Biodiverse units delivered per ha, irrigation systems and fire regulations (where applicable).We will discuss the Urban Greening Factor.
