Sustainability overview

Sustainability Built In. Not Bolted On.

https://venturifacades.com/sustainability/

At Venturi, sustainability isn’t a feature it’s a foundation. Every panel, every bracket, every decision we make is part of a bigger picture: to build a façade industry that performs better, wastes less, and helps shape a low carbon built environment.

The Right Materials. For the Right Reasons.

Venturi rainscreen systems are designed with performance, durability, and environmental impact in mind. We work with a wide variety of façade materials, each carefully considered for its lifecycle impact, recyclability, and long-term value.

Aluminium.

Lightweight, infinitely recyclable, and available with high post-consumer recycled content. Our pre-painted and anodised aluminium options are sourced from trusted coil producers focused on low-carbon production

Zinc, Copper & Stainless Steel.

Natural metals with long service lives and excellent recyclability. We work with mill finish and pre-patinated versions that weather naturally, often eliminating the need for additional coatings or maintenance.

ACM & A1 / A2 Core Composites.

For specific project needs, we offer non-combustible A1 & A2 rated composite materials with robust environmental documentation. Where used, we select systems with strong end-of-life recycling strategies.

Powder Coating.

All powder-coated finishes are applied in line with Qualicoat standards, using low-VOC paints from leading manufacturers like Interpon. Durable, fade-resistant, and recyclable.

Anodising.

An electrochemical process that produces a finish with exceptional longevity. Anodised aluminium remains 100% recyclable and avoids VOCs entirely.

Each material we use is supported by technical documentation, EPDs (where available), and a clear focus on fire performance, thermal efficiency, and recyclability.

Sustainable Business in Practice.

It’s not just what we make: it’s how we operate.

At Venturi, we’re committed to lowering our operational impact across all areas of the business:

Electric Company Vehicles

Our fleet runs on electric vehicles only reducing direct emissions and aligning with the UK's net-zero transport goals.

UK-Centric Supply Chain

We prioritise working with UK-based coil coaters, fixings suppliers, and fabricators, reducing freight emissions and supporting British manufacturing.

Efficient Manufacturing

We use lean fabrication methods and advanced nesting software to minimise waste, increase sheet yield, and limit offcuts.

Digital-First Operations

We run paperless workflows, cloud-based document management, and centralised drawing reviews to reduce waste and streamline decision-making.

Delivery & Logistics Strategy

We consolidate deliveries and optimise delivery routes to reduce unnecessary vehicle movements and emissions across our supply chain.

Our Future Commitment.

We know sustainability is a journey and we’re only just getting started. Our commitment is to continuously push for better environmental outcomes across the façades we deliver and the way we do business.

Here’s what’s next for Venturi:

Increased Use of Low-Carbon Materials.

We’re actively sourcing low-embodied-carbon aluminium and are working with suppliers offering certified EPDs and ESG-aligned practices.

Integrated Lifecycle Thinking.

Designing systems that are easier to disassemble, reconfigure, and recycle at end of life helping clients achieve circular economy goals.

Carbon Reporting & Transparency.

Introducing more robust carbon tracking on our products and projects to support clients working toward Net Zero Carbon.

Collaborative Innovation.

Working with architects, developers, and industry partners to integrate solar-ready cladding systems, biophilic facades, and sustainable retrofit solutions.

Environmental Accreditations.

We’re working toward formal accreditation under ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 50001 Energy Management standards.
