Refers to maximum allowable spans. These vary depending on profile thickness and span type. Maximum spans are as follows:


  • 0.35 mm BMT walling: 1500 – 2500 mm.
  • 0.42 mm BMT roofing: 1100 – 1900 mm.
  • 0.42 mm BMT walling: 1600 – 2500 mm.
  • 0.48 mm BMT roofing: 1600 – 2600 mm.
  • 0.48 mm BMT walling: 1750 – 2500 mm.

When insulation thickness up to 50 mm are installed, screws may need to be increased in number depending on insulation thickness and density.
