Application
Designed for internal application in shafts within multi-level buildings with a mechanical ventilation system. For smoke evacuation and control within lobbies, suitable for dry wall or masonry/ concrete construction.
Description
The LD Series Lobby Mechanical Ventilation Smoke Damper consists of two parts, the damper within a sleeve and a grille room side for ductless applications. The main sleeved damper with peripheral flange allows it to be fitted flush into the builder's prepared aperture.
The fitted internal actuator is used to drive the vertical damper blades from the normal closed position to the fully open position on receipt of a signal from a fire/ smoke control and detection system. Available in a range of different sizes to suit various applications.
