Reinforcement | Non-structural synthetic polypropylene fibres. Guidance for specification option: FibreCrete Micro consists of non-structural synthetic fibres that comply fully with European and British standards. They are suitable for almost all conventional concrete mixes and applications. These fibres reduce early-age shrinkage cracking and improve fire resistance through their low melting point (≈160°C). Like macro fibres, they are corrosion-resistant and support long-term durability. |
E modulus | 3–5 GPa. |
Binder | Manufacturer's standard. Guidance for specification option: Consult manufacturer for details. |
