Lignum timber flush sash casement windows, with traditional side hung butt hinges, offer a period design that suits any property style. A popular choice for refurbishing traditional windows, the flush sash frame can also be paired with traditional glazing bars profiles such as ovolo and lambs tongue. The butt hinges can be paired with ornamental peg stays for house remodelling projects.
Externally, the outer frame and sash are flush and feature slim sightlines to provide a larger glass area. The window system is internally beaded to enhance security, certified to PAS 24:2022 and is weather tested to meet the conditions of the British Isles. The Lignum Flush Casement Window is A rated for energy efficiency and has a U-value of 1.3 W/m²K with a warm edge Low-E argon filled double-glazed unit. U-values of 1.0 W/m²K or below can be achieved with triple-glazing or vacuum glazing.
