Certification Body for Product according to EN ISO/IEC 17065 (flexible) and CPR

The "flexible" accreditation available in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17065 confirms ift‘s competence to conduct product certifications. Thus, ift is capable of conducting the confirmation of the conformity of productsand components of our industry as well as associated services, e.g. the installation, according to the guidelines specified and the certification programmes.

Based on their experience of many years, the DAkkS has also granted flexibility in the accreditation to ift, as the only certification body for products in Germany, i.e. ift is permitted to develop and introduce new certification programmes, without any time-consuming bureaucratic procedures.

Assessments of conformity can be conducted by ift in the following areas:

Building components (windows, doors, gates, facades and shutters)
Glass/glass products
Accessories/materials (panels, profiles, bonding agents, fittings, coatings, adhesives, sealants, fittings and hinges)
Installation products (screws, assembly foam, sealing tapes)
