Laminated glass samples were tested. § In accordance with the norm DIN EN ISO 12543-4, the artificial aging by UV irradiation was carried out by means of a xenon-arc solar simulation spectrum with a power of 50 W / m2 in total UV
wavelength. The examined samples have been continuously irradiated for 3,000 hours. In this case, a control
measurement of the haze values and the light transmission was carried out for every 500 h. The artificial aging by UV radiation was carried out by Friedmann & Kirchner testing institute (Germany) on laminated glass samples made from a series of different laminates.
Both the LSG made with evguard® laminating interlayer and combination with evguard® MPE passed the test successfully. No visual change was observed.

SpeedStile BP/BPW is a Bi-parting Speed Gate for internal installation. Available in Normally Open (N/O) mode or Normally Closed (N/C) mode. In N/O the SpeedStile provides an open walkway in rest position and will only close at unauthorised entry attempts. In N/C the SpeedStile provides a closed walkway which opens on acceptance of an authorised signal.
On receiving a signal from the access control system, or push button, the gates open. If an unauthorised person tries to follow or attempts to enter from the opposite direction, the system detects the unauthorised passage and activates the in-built alarm system.
Wide walkway to comply with wheelchair access requirements are available as well as Fail-Safe opening in case of power failure.

A fire curtain is used where, if there is a fire, it is necessary to create a temporary barrier within an opening which seals off the area on fire. The curtain descends and prevents any fire and smoke from spreading from one area to another. It also allows people access to protected escape routes without any loss of fire resistance.
A FM-1 fire curtain comprises a flexible fire-resistant fabric which is wound around a circular tube. Upon receiving a signal from the fire alarm system or on loss of power the curtain automatically unwinds to its operational position.
FM-1 fire curtains have been tested as fire barriers in accordance with EN 1634-1, providing protection for a defined period and at a defined maximum temperature.

The DORMA TS 99 FL in Contur design is a hold-open device with a free-swing function. With a smoke detector system (e.g. DORMA RMZ) it can be used as a hold-open system for fire and smoke check doors. An integrated system with free-swing and hold-open functions and built-in smoke detector is available as DORMA TS 99 FLR/FLR-K. The free-swing feature enables the door to be operated without resistance and, in the event of an alarm or power failure, reliably close by the reinstating action of the door closer. Typical use is in homes for the elderly, centres for the disabled and hospitals. Spring strength is EN 4 and the closing speed is adjustable. Door closers are tested to EN 1154, hold-open device tested to EN 1155 and all products are CE marked.
