The FireMaster® active fire curtain barrier is a vertical fire curtain barrier compliant to BS, EN, AS and GB standards and in accordance with BS 8524-1:2013 and BS EN 1634-1 and 1634-3 standards.
Developed to work with all building types, including domestic houses, the FireMaster® active fire curtain barrier is supplied with the Coopers Total Gravity Fail Safe (TGFS) system and features variable speed, controlled descent, limits radiation, smoke leakage, emergency egress and side channels.
Available in unlimited widths and drops up to 8 meters and with fixing options to suit all types of ceiling configurations, the FireMaster® active fire curtain barrier can be integrated with both solid and suspended ceilings and will remain hidden within the ceiling until deployed.

The FireMaster Plus² fire curtain barrier is a vertical fire curtain barrier that is compliant to BS EN, AS, Independently Third Party Accredited and approved in accordance with BS 8524-1:2013 to resist fire for 180 minutes whilst providing radiation of EW90 (90 minutes).

A fire curtain is used where, if there is a fire, it is necessary to create a temporary barrier within an opening which seals off the area on fire. The curtain descends and prevents any fire and smoke from spreading from one area to another. It also allows people access to protected escape routes without any loss of fire resistance.
A FM-1 fire curtain comprises a flexible fire-resistant fabric which is wound around a circular tube. Upon receiving a signal from the fire alarm system or on loss of power the curtain automatically unwinds to its operational position.
FM-1 fire curtains have been tested as fire barriers in accordance with EN 1634-1, providing protection for a defined period and at a defined maximum temperature.

Bespoke to each project, the FireMaster Concertina 'open' and 'closed' fire curtains are available in shapes, such as curves and L shaped, ciruclar and square, and available in any width with a maximum drop of 8 metres (5 metre drop if 240 minute integrity is required).
