Topforce Fibre Reinforced Concrete Brochure

Topforce Fibre Reinforced Concrete Brochure

Tarmac

TOPFORCE is a fibre reinforced, high performance concrete, that eliminates the need for some traditional reinforcement. Topforce SF uses steel and Topforce MF uses macro synthetic polypropylene fibres as a structural reinforcement. Quicker and easier to place than traditional mesh reinforced concrete, it also improves durability and performance of the finished construction. TOPFORCE can be used for any flooring or hardstanding application that requires the strength and durability of reinforced concrete.

+chase® - Reinforced Concrete ICCP System

+chase® - Reinforced Concrete ICCP System

C-Probe Systems

Our +chase® mortar operates as an impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) anode. It is installed using a conventional grouting gun, hand placement and finishing tools and operates within reinforced concrete structural elements, such as decks, beams, abutment walls and so on. If multi-layer steel protection is required then there may be a need to also drill discrete holes within the element to depth in order to throw current around the whole steel area.

Technical Digest - Concrete & Anti-Carbonation Protection

Technical Digest - Concrete & Anti-Carbonation Protection

Keim Mineral Paints Ltd

A major factor in concrete decay is carbonation, caused by Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere reducing the alkalinity of concrete. This in turn results in reinforcing steel becoming susceptible to attack by water and oxygen, causing corrosion of the steel and eventually spalling of the concrete. Sulphates from vehicle exhausts and chlorides from de-icing salts also contribute to concrete degradation.

Masonry Reinforcement and Windposts

Masonry Reinforcement and Windposts

Leviat

Large panels of masonry or panels with openings can often be difficult to justify structurally. The traditional solutions have been to either increase the thickness of the wall or introduce an additional masonry pier. Ancon AMR Bed Joint Reinforcement and Ancon Windposts are designed to provide additional lateral support for panels of masonry. Windposts can be installed into either the inner leaf of blockwork or into the cavity leaving the blockwork undisturbed. Ancon AMR is a fabricated and flattened stainless steel or carbon steel reinforcement which locates in the bed joint to strengthen a wall. Parapet Posts are used as vertical support for brickwork in parapet panels.

SikaFiber Technology

SikaFiber Technology

Sika Limited

CONCRETE SikaFiber® TECHNOLOGYFibres are an ideal ingredient for improving the performance of concrete and mortar. They increase energy absorption and fire resistance, whilst reducing shrinkage crack, fracture formation and crack widths. By adding fibres to the mix during production, concrete becomes more durable and resistant. When used in construction projects, it ultimately requires a lot less reinforcing steel than conventionally-reinforced concrete. For centuries, fibre reinforcement has been a major part of construction, and as materials and processes have evolved, so too has fibre technology. Concrete applications with fibres have expanded considerably in recent times, and are now fully-established in the market – with new materials now capable of replacing traditional fibres.

Sustainable Resilience for Reinforced Concrete Structures (Parking Structures / Multi-Storey Car Parks)

C-Probe Systems

A PDF, which includes case studies, casting a spotlight on corrosion management for parking structures. Many ageing parking structures are not properly serviced and maintained, causing disruption and closure. C-Probe Systems can offer low carbon, smart products that create a Corrosion Management System (CMS) for the protection and service life tracking for both multi-level and underground parking with buildings above, helping to extend their service life and increasing durability. The PDF looks closely at the use of LoCem® +chase® which is a low carbon cement alternative (AACM), that also acts as an ICCP anode for reinforced concrete structures.
