TYDE was recently approached by Garry Wells at Wells Commercial Refurbishment Solutions Ltd who were looking for a solution for a project they were working on for the refurbishment of Norton public toilets on behalf of Stockton on Tees Borough Council. The brief that Garry and his team had from Stockton on Tees Borough Council included a requirement for Anti-Vandal WC Pans and Basins.After researching our Resan® products online the team at Wells Commercial Refurbishment contacted one of our Business Development Managers to find out more about what kind of solution we could provide. The North Northamptonshire County Council approached Care Spaces to create a Changing Place facility at East Carlton Country Park due to a high number of disabled visitors. With limited space in the existing Visitor Centre, we installed a Care Capsule™, a modular Changing Place toilet designed offsite for easy transport and assembly. Facing access challenges, the Care Capsule™ had to be delivered in kit form and assembled on-site. Electrical and plumbing services were extended to the location. To minimize environmental impact, ground screws replaced concrete for stability without harming the natural surroundings.The customisability of the Care Capsule™ allowed the client to match the unit with the Visitor Centre's aesthetics, featuring a brick exterior and a steel security door. The unit met Changing Places standards, including Fibo® waterproof internal cladding. £12 million has been invested into Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera secondary school in Neath Port Talbot. A three storey teaching block has been built, providing state of the art classrooms and school toilet cubicles for 11-19 year old pupils.Privacy was a big factor when specifying the school toilet cubicles. We’ve created a striking new reception area plus contemporary monochrome superloos and a cycle change area as part of an office refurbishment. Each self-contained superloo cubicle contains a toilet and wall-mounted vanity unit, with the full height Alto toilet cubicle doors providing complete privacy for office staff. Manufactured in white high pressure laminate, the toilet cubicle doors were completed with matching Corian solid surface edging and black ironmongery to match the rest of the black washroom accessories. Washroom also delivered toughened low iron glass back-painted wall panelling for each toilet cubicle.

ONVO very much enjoyed being part of the redevelopment of Merkinch Primary School in Inverness. Working initially with the architect on the toilet layouts and design and then with Korrie Technical Services to achieve colourful, open plan, safe toilet environments throughout the building. This colourful office washroom features mirrored wall panels, full height flush fronted toilet cubicle doors and bespoke vanity units manufactured using LG HI-MACS. The toilet cubicle doors, Concerto integrated duct panels and wall panelling were all manufactured in a high pressure laminate with a gloss, almost mirror-like finish.

In July 2021 the South Downs National Park Authority became owners of Seven Sisters Country Park. One of their main focuses was creating better experiences for visitors. As part of that process the visitor centre was recently redeveloped, ensuring it was more accessible, with same level access and new toilets. A functional, child-friendly washroom design featuring Genesis toilet cubicles was created for Rainbow Nurser. The nursery opted for Venesta’s Genesis toilet cubicles, a popular choice for early education settings due to it's versatility and many customisable features including low-level doors and curved partitions. The toilet cubicles were specified in High Pressure Laminate (HPL) making them ideal for nursery usage, allowing for easy cleaning and simple maintenance, meaning they really will stand the test of time.For cost savings and reduced installation times, our Vepps pre-plumbed panelling system was specified. In addition, low level vanity units were installed featuring semi-recessed basins. We’ve given a Victorian office building a modern makeover by replacing the existing washrooms with a modern new design. Our flush fronted Alto toilet cubicles, which are designed to provide a virtually seamless façade, were finished with an attractive dark wood effect Engineered Veneer to ensure a consistency of colour for each cubicle door. Laminated duct panels were installed behind the toilets and urinals in a soft grey colour and we also designed bespoke white Corian vanity units.

School hygiene roomThe height adjustment of the basin, toilet and shower seat is all electrically powered making it quick, easy & effortless.The room can be configured to suit multiple and individual childrens' height requirements, which will inevitably change as they grow.Working heights for different carers can be optimised.The powered toilet and shower seat also act as ‘motorised lifting aids’ helping to protect carers' backs during assisted transfers, whilst enabling the more independent children to self-transfer independently.
