In order to complete the redevelopments, the site required a modern-design led carpet tile that needed to be fit for heavy contract use. St. Pancras Station is a central London railway terminus and Grade I listed building located on Euston Road in the St Pancras area of the London Borough of Camden. Atkinson & Kirby were chosen to supply 6000m² of Jatoba Blocks for the lounge areas, finished with WOCA Master Natural Oil.

The completely revamped St Mary’s Church has recently opened its doors to the public of Lichfield. Located in the heart of Lichfield on the historic market square, the redeveloped St Mary's church holds the town's library and multi-use cultural space with performing and visual arts presentations, Bar and Cafe, archive and gallery area, offering access to digital local records and treasury. The Grade II building dating back to the 19th Century commanded refined, architectural lighting and Hacel were at the forefront in providing class leading LED luminaires, offering contemporary lighting for a historic site.

St Mary’s RC Primary School wanted a robust flooring that was suitable for the school activities that take place in the halls like PE and assemblies. A Lancashire charity that helps to support homeless young people is able to accommodate more of its service users after a rundown church room was completely renovated, thanks to the BBC’s DIY SOS show and all suppliers who provided donations to this worthy cause. Several generous companies offered to donate time and materials to the project and when Gerflor, was contacted by contractor Crown Flooring to see if we could help, we were delighted to be part of the journey.

When the school decided to replace the existing flooring in the main sports hall the aspects of quality, performance and durability took centre stage. The new sports surface needed to be multi-purpose in order to be able to host exams and school functions, so therefore needed to withstand varied usage and heavy traffic. The College turned to international flooring specialist Gerflor to supply 590m2 of its world renowned Taraflex® Performance vinyl sports flooring to provide the high performing, multi-use solution it was seeking.

St Columba’s is one of Scotland’s highest achieving schools, and the need to replace the flooring within its Junior School’s multi-purpose hall and two corridors located within the school’s extension, has brought the refurbished areas into the 21st century. Gerflor’s Taraflex® Multi-Use was the flooring product most suitable for the hall renovation as it combined the aesthetic, hardwearing and safety characteristics wanted. Whereas Gerflor’s Mipolam Elegance vinyl sheet flooring with the best abrasion resistance group T rating and high stain resistance for heavy traffic use was ideal for the busy corridors.

St Benedict's School in Ealing, West London holds the distinction of being the only the third Passivhaus certified school in the UK. We were naturally delighted to be part of the construction team for such an exciting project. Architects van Heyningen and Haward were commissioned to design two new Passivhaus buildings for the independent Catholic school - a sixth form centre and a primary building. We were appointed to design, manufacture and install 78 Passivhaus-certified aluminium clad windows, with a Uw rating of just 0.79. We also provided thermally-efficient timber aluminium curtain walling, plus Reynaers CS 86-Hi high-insulation aluminium doors.

Located in the heart of tourist London, St James’s Park Café occupies a prime spot overlooking Duck Island and St James’s Lake. The curved wooden building features a sweeping 200-seat roof terrace and floor to ceiling glass windows where diners can while away an hour or two admiring the infamous pelicans and black swans of St James’s Park. With 5 million visitors to the park each year, café operators, Benugo, have quite a challenge maintaining service and facilities. FlexStep at St. Aidan's School in the UK

The hallways are broad and the traffic is heavy at the stairs at St. Aidan's Primary School in Scotland, UK. To create a coherent and functional solution to meet those needs a FlexStep lifting platform and an identical fixed staircase were put into production. The steps are covered with carpet like the rest of the floors at the school - a small feature that makes the FlexStep an invisible state of the art product. The school needed the broad staircases as well so a fixed staircase was built next to the FlexStep in the exact same design as the FlexStep.

Wall Protection - St Ninians, East Renfrewshire

We supplied and fitted a combination of Wall Protection solutions at St Ninian’s High School in East Renfrewshire, reducing the impact of scuffs and scrapes in the school’s corridors, improving its internal appearance and enhancing the environment. “We were looking for a way to deal with wear and tear and how to keep the school in pristine condition, particularly after the refurbishment of certain areas,” explains Anne O’Neill, Business Support Manager at St Ninian’s. “It was clear that a new approach was needed, so we contacted Gradus about their wall protection solutions.”

Former St. Albans Museum

This project comprises 3 & 4 bedroom dwellings with the road side elevation retaining the old museum façade. Its distinctly Roman influenced appearance included decorative arches and has become synonymous with the city of St Albans. Any development to the site had to be in keeping with this style whilst bringing a contemporary feel to the area.

St. Patricks Church, Castlederg

The grounds at St. Patrick’s Church in Castlederg, Northern Ireland, was redeveloped with a traditional style landscape created with Tobermore’s Tegula and Tegula Setts block paving. The charming, aged aesthetics of the product complemented the historic church building beautifully and the creation of a celtic-themed circular paving design was used to create a focal point and enhance the character of the site.

St John's Beaumont School

DYNAMIK Sport

The Sports Hall was built to replace the former gymnasium originally designed by John Francis Bentley, the architect of Westminster Cathedral in 1888. Although the primary function of the hall is for sporting activities, the school needed a hall for exams, general assemblies, presentations, parents' evenings and plays. So DYNAMIK installed several methods to protect the floor when not being used for sport.
