Working with Kier Construction, BOYCO successfully transformed this secondary school's changing room spaces.Project ScopeNorth Chadderton School in Oldham, is renowned for providing a supportive, and creative learning environment. The school was challenged with needing to create additional space for students, sparking a new construction project.Team BOYCO proudly worked with Kier Construction, to help transform the newly developed learning spaces at the secondary school. Part of the Oak Trust, BOYCO supported the school’s expansion project with the design, manufacture and install of a range of changing and cloakroom furniture.The BOYCO WayBespoke DesignTeam BOYCO’s in-house design and project management teams worked closely with the Architects drawings, designers at Kier Construction, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the task at hand. We collaborated closely to create designs that showcased a range of BOYCO’s market-leading changing and cloakroom furniture that seamlessly integrated with the school's aesthetic.Our Peg Rails, Island Bench Units, and Wall Fixed Bench units were carefully chosen to maximise space, whilst meeting the practical needs of both students and staff.Quality ManufacturingFrom our factory in Greater Manchester, we ensured that every piece of furniture was crafted with precision using high-quality materials. The durability of the furniture was a key consideration to withstand the daily demands of a bustling school environment.A bespoke requirement from North Chadderton, was that Oak timber was used. This was a symbolic request from the Secondary School, as they wanted showcase being part of the Oak Trust.BOYCO also acknowledged that the cloakroom furniture would be a frequently used, with placement in a high touch point communal area.Therefore, as per all BOYCO timber, the Oak is coated with anti-microbial lacquer which is formulated to stop bacteria from surviving on the surface – preventing the spread of 99% of known bacteria. This is a suitable fit as it supports a clean and safe learning environment.All metalwork to the Benches, Units, and Peg Rails are coated with our unique ‘Hot Dip’ nylon. This also provides anti-microbial protection and is 500x more abrasion resistant than the next powder coating, a great match for the school’s changing room.Expert FittingBOYCO provided a full fit out service to complete this project. Our expert team of fitters worked to exceed expectations and meet tight timescales, completing the full fit out of all spaces during the schools Christmas Holidays. Sophisticated and contemporary office designs means ensuring perfect and seamless integration to complement the space.The creative brief for this design focused on embracing the intricate architectural details of the space such as the natural shapes and overall industrial vibes.Vtec's SupaSlat System and MaxiBeam Systems were specified in this unique office fit out. With such large zones, the team achieved the precision that was required, with 3D modelling to ensure precise coordination, positioning and integration.

Like many workplaces, a good cup of tea is a necessity for the staff at Wiltshire Council and, after years of faithful service from their older generation Zip HydroTaps, Wiltshire Council’s drinking stations were due a refresh. A new mains-fed drinking water system was required that could meet the hot beverage demands of all the council employees, at the same time as fitting the building’s energy saving criteria.

ASF's Building Protection Corner Bollard was used in the above project. The bollard is set up so that there is one quarter missing on the upright plane so that it fits perfectly on a 90 degree outside wall. The pattern can be adapted to other angles if necessary. Once in place the bollard acts as a wheel buffer for any vehicles getting too close to the corner - thus reducing the risk of damage to either the building or vehicle.

The second tallest building in the United Kingdom, and tenth largest building in the world is home to an impressive amount of BLÜCHER EuroPipe! All 62 floors are equipped with stainless steel drainage, from RWP, SVP and food vacuum systems to interceptor foul drainage and disconnecting traps for rainwater.The project spanned over two years, and it was a no brainer that our lightweight, adaptable and push fit system was chosen as the sole supplier.

A dated conservatory area is transformed by Breezefree with a retractable glass roof and polycarbonate curtain walling. Nagan Johnson Architects approached Breezefree to refurbish a dated conservatory area as part of the fit-out of the Cuban restaurant group’s second site in London’s Smithfield district. The brief required a modern retractable glass roof, to replace the old lean-to rooflight, and translucent curtain walling, to replace the dilapidated brick walls and windows...

Accoya selected for the renovation of the GeoSouthern Energy’s corporate headquarters. Distributed by Mason’s Mill & lumber, the Accoya cladding was milled into a Vanish Rain Screen profile with a walnut stain for the exterior of the building. Various sizes of Accoya were used ranging widths between 5”-8”. In total 80 m3 of Accoya was used for the project. Accoya was chosen due to its stability & durability making it the perfect fit for designers Kirksey.

Extensive use of parapet capping from the Pendock Linea building linings range has helped improve weather resistance and aesthetics at a modern student accommodation building in Kingston-upon-Thames.Bespoke manufactured from high quality aluminium with a grey PPC finish, the flat PC-F style parapet capping's are fitted to the entire building to improve the integrity of the flat roof and stop the ingress of water.
