ONVO very much enjoyed being part of the redevelopment of Merkinch Primary School in Inverness. Working initially with the architect on the toilet layouts and design and then with Korrie Technical Services to achieve colourful, open plan, safe toilet environments throughout the building. The ONVO solid surface washtroughs and circular washfountains have been used depending on each induvial toilet layout to achieve these anti-bullying and hygienic areas.

Stately Home, Hestercombe House, has unveiled the first milestone in an extensive 18-month project, which will see 15 rooms in the 320-acre estate being redecorated.Thanks to specialist redecoration services and expert colour insights from Crown Paints, the interior of the Portman and Jekyll rooms now reflects the estate’s luscious 50-acre Georgian landscape garden, blending the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.

Salford community project, Working in Wood, is run by Incredible Education CIC, a social enterprise providing nature-based services for local communities through horticulture and forest school activities. The Cleavley Community Forest Garden also has wood kitchen, a poly tunnel, outdoor learning area, an edible garden that supplies fruit and veg and a coffee shop & cafe that serves plant-based and healthy food.

In the heart of Manchester, a new 5-storey campus has been completed to provide additional facilities for higher and further education students in the Creative and Performing Arts sectors at The Manchester College. We were delighted to work alongside SimpsonHaugh, Bond Bryan Architects, Willmott Dixon and Longworth Building Services on this significant project, supplying several thousand square meters of Corium brick cladding to complete the contemporary facade.

A new mains-fed drinking water system was required that could meet the hot beverage demands of all the council employees, at the same time as fitting the building’s energy saving criteria.

Project DescriptionThe capital of Austria, Vienna, is home to one of the country's most powerful structures: The parliament building from the 19th century comprises the seat of the two chambers of parliament, the National Council as well as the Federal Council of the Republic of Austria.As part of the general renovation of the historic building complex on Vienna's Ringstrasse, Lindner GmbH was involved in the construction project with numerous products and services. In addition to the repair of damage to the building fabric, the main objective was the general  modernization of the property within the framework of the preservation of historical monuments. The combination of Lindner's modern hollow floor system FLOOR and more® and the historic overlay therefore met all the requirements. Following a significant programme of compartmentation works undertaken in 2018, the 11-storey Knowsley Heights buildings have benefitted from a refit that includes installation of Advanced's EvacGo system. This is compliant with the BS 8629 Code of Practice for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of evacuation alert systems for use by fire and rescue services in England and Wales.Knowsley Heights is owned by Livv Housing Group, an independent housing association, with the two buildings partially managed by an onsite manager. ABM Fire and Security Ltd undertook the complete supply, installation and commissioning of the EvacGo systems. A 4-loop, 16-zone evacuation alert panel was installed in each building. Each EvacGo panel is housed inside a STS 205 security-rated enclosure with patented BS EN 1303-compliant lock and key mechanism for exclusive access by the fire and rescue service – ensuring minimal risk of unauthorised use and full compliance with BS 8629.Audible and visual devices and interfaces were installed in the hallways of each of the 128 flats to ensure all residents, including people who are deaf or have hearing loss, are kept safe and informed.
