Heavy commercial vinyl flooring from Polyflor Ltd was recently used to create a fun train track floor design at Drayton Manor Park’s Thomas Land ™ in Staffordshire, UK.
Multiple designs from Polyflor’s Expona Flow commercial sheet vinyl collection were selected to create a floor inspired by Thomas and Friends™ for the Thomas Land™ gift shop and Engine Shed photo area.
Three shades from the Expona Flow Cosmos range (Woodland, Taupe and Luna) provided a bold and eyecatching backdrop, while the Bronzed Pine design from the Wood collection was used to replicate the look of railway sleepers.

Affinity255 luxury vinyl tiles in the Aspen Pine and Seasoned Grey Oak shades were installed by Lamont Flooring in the entrance area and therapy rooms of the new build clinic.
Heterogeneous sheet vinyl flooring in the Teal shade from Polyflor’s Expona Flow range was also used alongside the Affinity255 luxury vinyl tiles to create circle designs.

The Polyflor flooring used on this project was specified by main contractor H Bell & Sons Ltd and installed by local flooring contractor Winton Flooring.
Expona Commercial PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the Brown Heritage Cherry design were installed in the restaurant’s dining and bar areas.
Polysafe Apex safety flooring in the Biotite design was selected to provide sustainable wet slip resistance for the kitchen area.

Polyflor donated heavy duty sheet vinyl flooring to Hollins Village Community Centre in Bury as part of their commitment to supporting the local community.
High performance homogeneous vinyl floorcovering from the XL PU collection in the Turquiose shade was supplied free of charge by Polyflor and installed in the community centre’s refurbished “Jubilee Room”. Polysafe Mosaic PUR safety flooring in Freshwater was also used to cover a set of steps in the community centre.
Situated close to Polyflor’s Whitefield manufacturing plant, Hollins Village Community Centre hosts a variety of events for children and adults in the area.
Polyflor adds colour to Hopwood Hall College refectory

High performance commercial flooring from Polyflor was used to create a vibrant environment for students at Hopwood Hall College to dine and enjoy their break times in.
Designed by Whitespace Consultants Ltd and installed by local contractors Bramhall Flooring Co Ltd, Polyflor XL PU and Polysafe Wood fx PUR flooring was fitted throughout the further education college’s refurbished refectory.
The flooring design chosen for this canteen area features Polyflor’s XL PU cut into circles and semi circles, laid into a background of Polysafe Wood fx PUR safety flooring in the Rustic Oak design.
Polyflor donates flooring to local RSPCA centre

Polyflor donated Polysafe Mosaic safety flooring to the new RSPCA Bury & Oldham facility at Strinesdale Country Park, Oldham.
Three shades of Polysafe Mosaic PUR safety flooring were used throughout the building, with various colours being used to indicate different zones. The blue Freshwater shade was installed in the reception, shop, corridors, dog meet and greet room, operating theatre and clinic. The beige Akoya design was fitted in the cattery, upstairs office area and training room. The red Sunstone shade was chosen for the isolation rooms.

High performance sheet flooring from Polyflor was used to create a statement design floor in The Armoury Café and Kitchen at the Imperial War Museum Duxford in Cambridgeshire.
Designed by London based SHH Architecture & Interior Design, this refurbished restaurant area at Britain’s largest aviation museum features a monochrome floor design which was created using 300 m² of Polyflor’s Classic Mystique PUR vinyl flooring. Installed by flooring contractors Key Floors, the Smokestone, Nocturne and Quartz shades form concentric circles that echo the Royal Air Force logo.

Hard wearing luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor’s Affinity255 PUR collection of high-design wood effect flooring were recently chosen for the refurbishment of Enfields Kitchen, a student run restaurant at Gateshead College.
Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the popular Huckleberry Oak design were installed by local flooring contractor Floorstyles-Direct in the restaurant’s dining area. Situated at Gateshead College’s Baltic campus, Enfields Kitchen is a contemporary restaurant where all the food is made and served by students enrolled in the college’s hospitality and catering courses.

High-design concrete effect safety flooring from Polyflor was recently used at BMet college in Birmingham to create a fresh look for their reception area, common room and canteen.
Safety flooring from the Polysafe Arena PUR collection was installed at the Further and Higher Education College’s Matthew Boulton campus by local flooring contractors Top Mark Ltd. The Polysafe Arena range replicates on-trend stone, textile and abstract designs including this Dark Concrete design.

High design flooring from Polyflor was recently used to give Barbakan Delicatessen in Chorlton, Manchester a makeover as part of their refurbishment project. Barbakan’s refurbished shop features a bakery, deli counter and indoor seating.
Polyflor’s hardwearing Expona Commercial PUR luxury vinyl tiles were installed by Salford based Newards Ltd flooring contractors to the shop floor area. The store owners chose the unique Blue Varnished Wood design from the collection which has the look of pseudo-industrial timber which has been stripped and varnished many times over to give a worn effect.

Heavy commercial luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor’s Expona Commercial collection were chosen to create a stunning interior design scheme for the new Agora Fine Food Market and Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
2,861 square feet of Expona Commercial LVT in Brown Weathered Spruce and Blue Weathered Spruce were chosen for this project by local interior designers Everitt Design and installed by Bill Knight Flooring.
This flooring covers the food market and deli section of Agora Fine Foods. Polysafe Verona safety flooring in the dark brown Café Noir shade was also installed in the kitchen.

Hardwearing wood effect Expona Flow commercial flooring from Polyflor was chosen to give a new lease of life to the National Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
Lancashire based interior designers BWD Ltd were contracted to manage the design and build of the museum refurbishment project. They selected Polyflor’s Expona Flow sheet vinyl flooring in Sun Bleached Oak for the museum’s reception area, shop and Waterside Café. Featuring wood grain detail for added authenticity and subtle cool tones, this floorcovering complements the interior design scheme perfectly, improving the experience of visitors as soon as they enter the museum.

Approximately 1400m² of Designatex PUR sheet vinyl flooring, Polysafe Wood fx PUR and Polysafe Arena PUR safety flooring was installed during the interior fit out phase by Evabuild Interiors Ltd, under main contractor Willis Construction.
The Platinum Oak grey wood effect design from Polyflor’s Designatex collection of luxury vinyl sheet flooring for residential interiors was used throughout bedroom, living room and kitchen areas in each apartment.

High performance vinyl flooring from Polyflor’s Classic Mystique PUR range was installed by local flooring contractor Neil Handley in the Havering Innovation in Science, Engineering and Technology Hub (Hi-SET Hub). Three complementary grey shades from this homogeneous vinyl flooring collection - Smokestone, Nocturne and Quartz – were selected to produce this striking design.

Installed by local flooring contractors M2 Flooring Ltd for main contractor Dan Stacey Construction Ltd, Polyflor’s Forest fx PUR sheet vinyl flooring in the Rustic Oak design was chosen for the main gym floor, circulation areas and stairwells around the new fitness facility.
Two of Polyflor’s safety flooring products in matching dark hues were also selected to provide sustainable wet slip resistance in the gym’s changing rooms, heavy-duty Polysafe Vogue Ultra PUR in Galactic and Polysafe Hydro Evolve in Black Volta.
Polyflor flooring helps create stunning new homes in Bridgend

Polyflor’s vinyl flooring was recently installed at Wales & West Housing’s new social housing development in the popular seaside town of Porthcawl, Bridgend.
Around 2500m² of Polyflor flooring was installed by Artisan Flooring of Swansea to help create 40 brand new, affordable homes at New Road Court which has been built by local construction company Jehu in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council and the Welsh Government.
Polyflor’s Secura PUR flooring in the bold Antique Herringbone 2129 design was installed throughout the apartments in kitchens, corridors, bedrooms and living spaces.
Polyflor donates flooring to new Salford Institute of Dementia Hub

Polysafe safety flooring was donated by Polyflor to the new Salford Institute for Dementia Hub at the University of Salford.
Polyflor donated approximately 90m² of Polysafe Wood fx PUR safety flooring in the Oiled Oak shade which was installed by Flooring Supply Centre, Liverpool. The £300,000 dementia hub, which was designed by Day Architectural, aims to be an outreach centre for the public to access the latest research and ideas about living with dementia, as well as being a working base for the University’s dementia associates and researchers.
Polyflor Bloc flooring makes a statement in architects’ studio

Polyflor commercial vinyl flooring from the Bloc collection was recently chosen to add a splash of colour to Rivington Street Studio architectural practice in London.
Rivington Street Studio specialises in architectural and landscaping projects for the education, housing, leisure, commercial and public sectors. The Soft Moss shade from the Bloc range adds earthiness and warmth to the otherwise minimalistic interior. The green shade was fitted by local contractors Abbotts Flooring throughout the open plan office, meeting rooms and the communal kitchen.
Polyflor flooring chosen for Country Buddies Childcare Centre

Professional Colour Consultant and Interior Designer Lynne Mewett of Creative Ambience specified Polyflor flooring throughout Country Buddies Childcare Centre and designed all the shapes set into the floors, including the waterjet design featuring a stork carrying a child in reception. The flooring was installed by Bigger Floorworld.
Lynne chose Classic Mystique and Pearlazzo homogeneous flooring in a range of colours for the play rooms, corridors and reception area. Polysafe Astral and Polysafe Verona were used for areas where sustainable wet slip resistance was required, such as the kitchens, the laundry and children’s toilets.
Polyflor’s Expona flooring flows through new gym

High performance commercial sheet vinyl flooring from Polyflor’s Expona Flow PUR collection was installed in a new gym area at Shrewsbury Sports Village in Shropshire.
Peterborough based Escape Fitness designed the sports centre’s new gym and also installed the 220m² of Expona Flow PUR flooring throughout the space for Shropshire Community Leisure Trust Ltd. This heterogeneous vinyl flooring was used for the areas surrounding cardio and resistance equipment, the free weight area and walkways.
Two designs from the Expona Flow range were selected to be installed alongside each other - English Oak and Meadow.
Polyflor heads to the seaside for fish and chip shop makeover

Wood effect luxury vinyl tiles and hardwearing Polysafe safety flooring from Polyflor were chosen to create a nautical inspired interior design scheme for Copperfish bar, restaurant and takeaway in the seaside destination of Mumbles Pier in Swansea, Wales.
Heavy commercial Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the Cross Sawn Timber, Aspen Pine and Flamed Chestnut designs were installed to the restaurant floor by local contractors Pro-Spec Interiors Ltd .
Polysafe Apex safety flooring in the Breccia and Chromite shades was used in the back of house kitchen areas, behind the bar and around the takeaway servery.

Approximately 300m² of Polyflor flooring was installed by The Hull Flooring Company Limited at Nelson’s Diner in Kennet Shopping Centre. The refurbishment project was led by BMS Limited.

Polyflor’s Affinity255 flooring adds sophistication to Swansea hotel

Heavy commercial luxury vinyl tiles in stunning wood effects from Polyflor’s recently launched Affinity255 collection were chosen to give The Grand Hotel in Swansea a new look.
Two authentically reproduced wood plank designs from the Affinity255 range were installed by local flooring contractor DM Flooring and Tiling at the hotel in Swansea city centre.
Huckleberry Oak with intense grain detailing and surface texture was chosen for the hotel restaurant whilst the Smoked Walnut design with striking markings was used in corridors as well as in a herringbone design in conference rooms.

Polyflor flooring was installed by Artisan Flooring in approximately 29 apartments within Llys Graig Y Wion’s three main blocks and three bungalows.
520m² of Acoustix Forest fx PUR sheet vinyl flooring in European Oak 3345 was installed in communal areas including stairwells, hallways and landings. 1600m² of Polyflor’s Colonia PUR luxury vinyl tile in English Oak was fitted throughout living spaces in the development’s apartments.

Approximately 2000m² of flooring from the Mystique PUR, Prestige PUR and Polysafe Mosaic PUR ranges was fitted at the secondary school by Flortec Ltd working for construction company Beard.
Ideally suited to busy education environments, Mystique PUR in Titanio was used in classrooms while Prestige PUR in Grey Marl was chosen for corridors, staircases and other circulation areas.
Polysafe Mosaic PUR safety flooring in Grey Fusion was selected for use in the school’s science classrooms and toilets areas.

The concept for this retail interior was created by Beverley Wood Design, a creative consultancy service based in Lytham St Anne’s. Forest fx PUR vinyl flooring in the Rustic Oak shade was installed by the clients flooring contractors in the reception and dog grooming areas.

A variety of Polyflor’s vinyl flooring has been installed extensively across a major redevelopment and conservation project at the Acre Mills Outpatient facility, a Grade II listed former wire mill building in Huddersfield.
The newly renovated Acre Mill facility was designed by Jefferson Sheard Architects in Sheffield.

Polyflor’s wood effect Forest fx PUR vinyl flooring was chosen by Croydon Health Services NHS Trust to create a welcoming dementia-friendly care zone in two reconfigured wards at Croydon University Hospital.
Designed by IBI Group, the refurbishment of Croydon University Hospital’s wards involved creating a new environment specifically suited to patients who are admitted to hospital and living with dementia. Installed within a new dementia hub, the subtlety and high clarity replication of timber in the American Oak design helped to create a relaxed ambience.

Designed by BRP Architects of Market Harborough, the refurbished doctors’ surgery features Polysafe safety flooring installed by Excelsior Carpets and Flooring Contractors Ltd, under main contractors Oakwood Construction. Polysafe Wood fx Acoustix PUR in American Oak was fitted in the surgery’s reception and circulation areas whilst Polysafe Standard PUR in Ash Grey was fitted in all the consulting rooms.
Polyflor creates a bespoke Expona Flow design for Preston nursery

Polyflor’s Expona Flow range of high performance commercial flooring was used to create a fun and functional flooring design at Quwwat Islam Education Centre in Preston recently.
Installed by Diamond Flooring of Bolton, seven designs from the Expona Flow range were selected to create the bespoke floor in the corridor of the centre’s Little Sparkles Nursery. The grey Luna and Storm colours were chosen for the base and border of the design floor, whilst the circular designs with striped, spotted and swirl patterns inside were created using the brighter Burnt Orange, Flaxen, Steel Blue, Meadow and Plum shades.

High design luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor’s Affinity255 PUR collection were installed at Tredz cycle shop in Swansea to give a brand new look to their shop floor area.
Approximately 400 m² of Affinity255 luxury vinyl tiles in Flamed Chestnut were installed by local flooring contractors Artisan Flooring in the specialist shop selling bikes, cycling equipment and accessories.
Jamie Davies, South Wales Area Manager at Tredz commented, “We’re delighted with the finished look of the shop and have had plenty of positive comments from our customers. The natural wood effect really brings the great outdoors into our shop interior.”
