Landscaping works, additional parking, and associated infrastructure. This project also includes associated infrastructure works and access roads.Cellecta’s HiDECK Structural 25 was specified by Jeremy Blake Architects due to it being a conductive structural floorboard and having outstanding acoustic and fire performance and low thermal resistance.Brady Construction Services was awarded this 320m² contract for this development in Cornwall.

We recently worked with Greswolde Construction and C2J Architects to manufacture and install healthcare furniture for Broadway Medical Centre, a new, two-storey medical centre, which replaces the existing surgery in the centre of Broadway, Worcestershire. The contract value was just over £55,000 and involved providing furniture throughout the new centre, in both clinical and administrative rooms.The new primary care medical centre will have five GP consulting rooms, two GP registrar rooms, two treatment and minor surgery rooms, as well as various rooms for other medical needs. A number of offices and meeting rooms will occupy the first floor. A new 65-space car park has also been included for the site which will have disabled spaces, electric car charging bays and cycle storage as well as an ambulance bay.

A separate low level building on the site is clad and roofed using GreenCoat PLX Metallic Silver in a similar random seam layout.

Enhanced to achieve net zero carbon, the building features a façade of solar panels and has achieved a BREEAM rating of Excellent. The impressive contemporary landmark, situated just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, was — at the time of its construction — the tallest high-rise in the capital, standing at 230m tall including its mast. Featuring a range of corporate office spaces, restaurants and leisure spaces, as well as Britain’s largest privately-owned aquarium in its impressive lobby, the development has been designed to impress, providing building users with a premium experience throughout. This has extended to its more functional areas, with the transformation of its bicycle storage area; a dedicated space where building users are able to securely store their pushbikes and scooters. Installed in a combination of RAL 5018 Turquoise Blue and RAL 7035 Light Grey, the installation of vebrodeck ID has created a welcoming space for the building's climate-conscious cyclists and scooters to safely store their vehicles. vebrodeck ID is a durable resin deck wearing system, designed for use on driveways and parking bays of internal or basement level decks of multi–storey parking structures. vebrodeck ID is a protective deck coating system offering excellent wear resistance. In 2016, we installed our new improved Bike Wheeling Ramp on the bridge across the River Lea at the bottom of Spring Hill at Springfield Park. This bridge sits exactly on the Hackney-Walthamstow border.It is a key thoroughfare for commuters on a daily basis, however, not everyone has such an easy job negotiating stairs particularly if you own a heavier bicycle with panniers or luggage.The challenge of this project was in the design of the bridge which was multi-level as well as curved. This problem was solved by the real ingenuity of the ramp which lay in its modular design. This comprised floor fixing brackets that adjust to the different angles of the slope. The flexible angle adjustment of the ramp allows installation into any pre-existing environment which is a big bonus when retrofitting cities with historical architecture.The Bike Wheeling Ramp has been specifically designed to improve bicycle access when travelling along multi-level routes, and allows to people who cycle to gently wheel their bike up or down without having to carry it or forcefully bump it along the stairs.This ramp also includes flip-up functionality allowing for easy cleaning underneath and preventing trapped rubbish or leaf litter building up. The length of the ramp can be ordered in made-to-measure sizes to ensure a truly bespoke solution.“As former project manager for the Wetlands to Wetlands route I am delighted to work with award-winning Cyclehoop on this initiative. This innovative wheel ramp will enable cyclists to access the beautiful surroundings of the Lea Valley Regional Park without lifting heavy bicycles up steep steps and help improve connections for visitors to London’s exciting new Wetlands Centres at Woodberry Downs and Walthamstow.The greenway marks the start of a 3km route that will connect the recently opened Woodberry Wetlands centre with the soon-to-be-open Walthamstow Wetlands centre. The OWO hotel, previously the Old War Offices in London, opened for the first time to the public in Summer 2023 as the UK’s first Raffles Hotel offering 85 unique private residences, nine exciting restaurants, three iconic bars, Guerlain’s first London Spa and an active wellness by Pillar Wellbeing.Working with EPR Architects, and Ardmore Construction, partitioning expert Style was specified to sub-divide the impressive main ballroom with a 6.5 metre high Dorma Huppe Variflex semi-automatic moveable wall.With an incredible 60dB acoustic rating, noisy events can take place either side of the wall without sound interference, and the operable wall has a chic fabric finish to perfectly complement the interior design of the room.Style also installed Dorma Hüppe’s unique i-Track system, designed to make the moving of tall moveable walls both simple and safe for the operator.Cleverly harnessing the kinetic energy created by panel movement, i-Track utilises that momentum to effortlessly facilitate a change in direction as each panel passes through the curves, into and out of the parking pocket. Track diverters are also used to manually program the carriers to automatically move each panel to the correct parking location.In addition, Style was also specified to install four more 59dB Dorma Hüppe Variflex semi-automatic moveable walls to create a series of flexible meeting rooms, enabling staff to quickly adapt the space depending on usage.Built on the historic royal site of Whitehall Palace, this is where Ian Fleming conjured up the idea of James Bond having been inspired by the building’s resident spies. It went on to feature in three 007 films as the MI6 headquarters, where M’s office was located, and between 2017 and 2023 it was lovingly restored.“It was a genuine privilege to have been chosen for one of the most iconic buildings in London,” said Style’s group managing director, Julian Sargent, “and it is testimony to the quality of our people, products and craftmanship that we were entrusted to work on this famous landmark.”

As one of the pioneers of remote working solutions, Citrix recently chose to reconfigure their offices, taking on an additional space at the Cambridge Science Park. Aiming to create an environment that would facilitate engagement, creativity and productivity, moveable wall specialists, Style worked closely with architect, Gensler, and contractor, Area Sq, to offer intensely flexible workspace.Delivering exceptional acoustic ratings of 55dB and 52dB respectively, Style installed two Dorma Hüppe Variflex solid moveable walls and a single Variflex glass moveable wall, allowing Citrix staff to section off a meeting area from the main hall and then further sub-divide the space as required. Contributing to the vibrant new décor, all walls feature black RAL 9005 profiles and dry wipe magnetic boards to encourage brainstorming. Cambridge Science Park has been home to the UK Citrix Research and Development team for over a decade. Having occupied approx. 30,000 sq ft of space on the first floor, Citrix was keen to refurbish their existing workplace as well as expand operations by taking over additional space on the ground floor.Reflecting the Citrix vision and culture, the new layout and design maximises the potential of the space, allowing staff to establish new ways of collaborating.When all three walls are in place, three smaller meeting rooms are created. Alternatively, a combination of one large and one small meeting room can be formed, or just one very large space using just the glass moveable wall. The entire space can also be opened-up into one large open plan area. “This is an excellent example of how a combination of glass and solid moveable walls can create really adaptable office space,” said Steve Williams, sales director for Style Midlands.“Thanks to the inclusion of three pass doors, access is simplified and also allows the glass wall to be left in place for extended periods if desired, creating a more permanent space. “However, due to the semi-automatic operation of these operable walls, they can be opened up extremely quickly so that the entire space can be reconfigured for different vents throughout the day.”

Essex Pedal Power is a community project focused on cycling access and inclusivity. The scheme provides free bikes to eligible applicants along with associated services including training and group activities. Piloting in coastal towns Clacton-on-Sea and Jaywick Sands, the project aims to connect residents with key local services while harnessing the health, wellbeing and social benefits of regular cycling.Parallel to the free bike element of the scheme, supporting infrastructure is vital to make cycling a viable and practical transport solution for participants and regular cyclists alike. Essex Pedal Power identified seven key public locations including the train station, library, community centres and schools as prime destinations for cycling journeys. The challenge was to provide high quality, cost effective cycle parking, and to publicise each site as cycle friendly. The answer came in the form of our Bike Ports; robust parking racks with eye-catching bike icon facias.Cyclehoop were commissioned to supply and install six Bike Ports and two Bikehangars. Custom orange powder coating and vinyl wrapping match the colour of the Essex Pedal Power branding and their distinctive orange bikes. All six Bike Ports were installed in just two days, owing to the innovative self-supporting design and the vast experience of our fitters. The Bike Port’s unmistakable appearance instantly identifies each site as a bike storage space, while the striking orange hue fosters affinity with participants. As a component of the Pedal Power scheme, the Bike Ports help residents access important local facilities, quickly and conveniently in a healthy and sustainable way.As a result of the success of the pilot scheme in Jaywick Sands and Clacton-On-Sea, which launched in June 2021 and has distributed over 90 bikes to the local community, the scheme will be rolled out in Colchester, launching Summer 2022. The playground is a themed and inclusive play area that has quickly become a natural meeting point for both residents and tourists.A playground with a maritime theme has dropped anchorMarstrand is one of the most popular summer destinations on the Swedish west coast, surrounded by hundreds of islands and islets with smooth cliffs and a lively coastal life. On September 13th, a new playground was inaugurated in the heart of the city, featuring products from Lappset's popular Flora and Finno series. One of the products was a large and impressive Flora tower and ship, custom-designed to fit the environment and the playground's name, which the children had participated in creating.A close collaborationThe playground design was done in close collaboration between the customer, the local salesperson, and the design team at Lappset.The municipality of Marstrand desired an interesting and inviting product connected to the area and the environment.The proposed theme was one related to the sea and ships, fitting the coastal town of Marstrand.For instance, a sign with fish unique to Marstrand was created. Even the windows with muntins on the product are a detail inspired by the many historical buildings in the surroundings.The name 'Kraken' won the naming competitionWhen the playground needed a name, Marstrand municipality, together with Lappset, organized a naming competition where children were invited to suggest names.To inspire the children, Lappset also sponsored a prize for the individual or individuals who came up with the winning suggestion. The name that received the most votes was KRAKEN.The Kraken is often described as a sea monster, as large as an island, pulling ships into the depths. Fascinating, just like a playground should be.The ship was christened with water-filled balloonsBefore a ship embarks on its maiden voyage, it is christened by breaking a champagne bottle against the side of the boat.This time, children used water-filled balloons for the naming ceremony of the play boat.There were many joyful laughs as the balloons were thrown and burst against the playship.In conjunction with the inauguration, a sign for the park, crafted by a local carpenter, was also unveiled.

Artform Urban Furniture was appointed by Sager House (Almeida) to provide seating and cycle parking to a mixed-use community space in Islington, North London.Hidden behind an Edwardian façade of a former postal sorting office, Islington Square has been over a decade and a half in the making after the plot was initially bought in 2003 by Developers Cain International. After years of careful planning and construction, the site is now complete and comprises of independent retail units, restaurants, galleries, event spaces, a cinema, and 263 new flats.The intention of the project was to bring variety back to the high street and as well as the boutique shops, unique retailers and events spaces this consideration was echoed in the choice of street furniture. A selection of our stone seating and planter elements have been supplied to the site that feature distinctive designs to stand out. The Up Bench is a sculptural and modular bench, manufactured from a binding compound of granite that has been bush hammered and treated against deterioration. Inslington Square features combined runs of Up benches that create snaking blocks of social seating.The Arrowhead range of benches and planters are dotted around the space bringing natural colour as well as further social seating opportunities. These curvaceous monolith-shaped units offer a low-maintenance and resilient alternative to traditional street furniture. Their weight and mass also allow their placement to be considered in terms of building pedestrian protection from vehicles.Finally, considerations for cycling visitors and residents have been met with a selection of our premium cycle stands. The Ride Cycle Stand features concealed connections and discreet leveling glides to make the stand appear balanced in air. The cast aluminium flat ribbon frame marks it as a member of the Metro40 family of street furniture. 25 Units were supplied which provide great bicycle support with the capability for attachment at two points and holds two bicycles creating parking space for up to 50 bikes. Islington Square is an inclusive, pedestrian-friendly hub that sits at the heart of the surrounding community and brings something different to both residents and visitors.

This is the latest cycle hub designed, manufactured, supplied and installed by Falco for Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, Greater Manchester. Installed on behalf of Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation trust, the cycle hub is based on the flagship FalcoLok design and provides staff, visitors and patients to the hospital with secure cycle parking for up to 28 bikes.The FalcoLevel-Premium+ two-tier cycle racks are housed within a 6m x 4m version of the FalcoLok-500 cycle hub, complete with easy access automatic power doors, motion sensor LED lighting, helmet lockers, bespoke branding graphics and powder coating in an NHS blue RAL colour. The cycle hub is clad in toughened safety glass, designed to be sympathetic to the surrounding area.The whole shelter is a bespoke contemporary design of the classic Falco Cycle Hub shelter, which features clean lines through the glass cladding and supported by stainless steel glass clamps. The steelwork is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 and also meets UK structural design laws with EN 1090 accreditation. We have devoted ourselves to choose each and every panel in connection with their detailed criteria so as to attain the finest design.The exterior of the building deploys the PARKLEX PRODEMA NATURCLAD-W wood panels for architecture of rustic finish, which are highly resistant, durable, and sustainably sourced. The wooden paneling, with their earthy tones, synthesizes with the park surrounding landscape ensuing a harmonious junction with nature.

Chloride ingress and weathering has taken its toll on the structure with cracking and spalling of the concrete cover from reinforcement corrosion.Strategy: Significant concrete repair in conjunction with an ICCP system was needed for the structure. LoCem® +chase®, will be used specifically for reinforced concrete structures, where the ICCP anode mortar operates within slots cut and holes drilled strategically into the reinforced concrete structural elements. LoCem® is a low carbon cement alternative that can also act as a cathodic protection anode.Outcome: With the design of the ICCP for the Central podium completed, construction will begin in 2023 before moving to the West and East podiums. The project and is expected to go on for the next 2.5 years. The result of the project will be an ESG compliant strategy that will create a more resilient structure, utilising low carbon build materials that can control the impact of corrosion.

IntroductionThe Keyfix Non-Combustible Cavity Tray System has played an important role in futureproofing a major new residential development in Stratford’s Olympic Park by exceeding new building regulations whilst improving build quality and installation efficiency on site.OverviewLocated in the very heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Chobham Manor in East London is the first of five new neighbourhoods in the former home of the 2012 Olympics. Comprising 850 new one, two and three-bed homes alongside community facilities, shops, public green spaces and community areas, this stunning new development has sustainability at its core with all homes built to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.In a design by JSA Architects and built by Taylor Wimpey, the layered brickwork façade features projected bay windows, balconies and set back terraces. To meet the requirements and a tight build programme, Keyfix worked with subcontractor Chine Brickwork and supplied 4545 metres of Keyfix Non-Combustible Cavity Trays (NCCT) along with Corner Units and Weeps on blocks A, B and C which form Phase Four of the development.ChallengeThe challenges for Keyfix were the unique brickwork build programme which incorporated two runs of cavity trays being supplied per floor to accommodate brickwork corbelling and recessed brickwork.SolutionAs the corbels where built at a different stage on the build programme so the Keyfix Non-combustible Cavity Trays had to project out either side of the pier when initially being installed. Therefore, when the infill corbels where being built the continuous run of tray could link in seamlessly. A task that would have been near impossible had the system relied on tapes or mastics to make the linking joint.The Keyfix stainless steel NCCT was specified due to its self-supporting system which doesn’t need fixing back to the internal concrete frame and clips together for fast and easy installation. It is essentially a ‘Fix & Forget’ solution with no additional fixings, sealants or onsite fabrication required by the brickwork contractor. Therefore, installation of the trays did not impede the speed of bricklaying even when compared to traditional DPC. Installed in the outer leaf with no connection with the inner skin, this innovative cavity tray system does not create a thermal bridge and eliminates all differential movement issues.With a lifespan of 125+ years it is the only non-combustible cavity tray system that does not rely on tapes and mastics to make watertight joints, therefore elimating one of the main reasons for product failure.Commenting Kieran Coyle of Keyfix said: “Holding an A1 Fire Rating, the Keyfix non-combustible cavity tray solution exceeds the minimum standards set out in ADB (Approved Document B), whilst ensuring this new development meets and exceeds the latest regulations. URSA TERRA Glass Wool specified at major regeneration scheme  Construction giant Kier, has specified over 3,000 square metres of URSA TERRA Glass Wool as part of a £30million regeneration scheme at Manor Street, Braintree, Essex. The scheme will help rejuvenate and revitalise the area, providing essential new facilities and an attractive public realm whilst cultivating a vibrant town centre destination for the local community. Under the ambitious scheme, Kier chose URSA glass wool, as core insulation specification. The architects opted for URSA Walltec Black 32 at 100mm, 140mm and 200mm thickness along with URSA Hometec Roll 35 in a range of thicknesses for use throughout the development. Ian Claydon of URSA explained: “We were first involved in the scheme in July 2020 when approached by our distributor, Encon Insulation (Newmarket) to discuss a series of architect’s drawings and design the specification for a number of different wall types including traditional masonry cavity and rainscreen cladding with both cladding panels and brick outer leaf.  “We undertook numerous U-value calculations covering 18 different wall types. We also offered advice on the ‘buildability’ of some wall types, effect of linear thermal bridges, the fire performance of the walls and fire performance of the insulation. “The specification has evolved since with Kier adding metal roof insulation to their chosen product range and we are now providing a complete insulation solution. “This scheme typifies how our glass wool products are the perfect fit for almost any wall design or construction type that can potentially make up a building. It’s far reaching benefits in terms of performance, durability and flexibility see URSA TERRA specified time and time again in both commercial and residential schemes.” Ian added: “Working closely with Encon Insulation we will be supplying products to site on an as needed basis. Whilst we are facing challenges with imports caused by both Brexit and Covid, we are still devising solutions which allow us to retain strong stock levels and cater for the demands of a large site such as this.” The mixed-use scheme at Braintree will include 35 new homes, a 70-room hotel, health provision, new bus interchange, two-storey car park, and enhanced public realm, which will complement Braintree’s historic Town Hall and provide the perfect backdrop for a new café restaurant. A new healthcare facility will sit at the centre of the development and will also provide a home for Mid Essex CCG’s first Livewell Hub including a GP surgery, pharmacy and further preventative healthcare services. At the centre also will be an accessible garden area which the general public are encouraged to utilise, enjoy and relax surrounded by existing public amenities offered by the library, museum and the historic, Grade II listed, Braintree Town Hall. A new car park across two floors will provide additional parking capacity whist a new hotel feeds into the wider tourism strategy for the district. Partnering remains critical within the wider URSA approach. Technical staff are keen to collaborate with clients at the initial design stage to support the best specification available. Ian concluded: “The Braintree scheme represents the very best of what URSA can offer – from a true sense of partnering with the client to the application of a vast range of products designed for multiple specifications. Part of the Wembley Park masterplan, this mixed-use development designed by GRID Architects delivers 396 Build to Rent dwellings for Quintain Living, together with a large health centre and retail along two streets. The specification of Vandersanden’s Majestic and Luna Taranis bricks responds to the setting of the development and helps visually separate the buildings.Repton Gardens is the next generation of Build to Rent developments at Wembley. The form is two long buildings on either side of a large amenity courtyard, with a smaller block between. The two main buildings are split into two, the southern half is 11 storeys high and the northern half steps up to 21 storeys. These brick-clad forms present a strong architectural statement within the huge regeneration of the area that is seen on arrival at Wembley Park station. From the first drawing, the facade material for the development was conceived as being brickwork. The architecture is simple and elegant but there was the desire to visually separate the elements of the two stepped buildings. To achieve this it was decided to use contrasting bricks with a light, but warm brick for the taller elevations and a dark - but again warm - brick for the lower areas. With this in mind, Vandersanden’s Majestic brick, which is a light grey with a hint of buff, was selected for the upper part while the darker Luna Taranis brick was chosen for the lower. The colour and texture of these bricks also contrast with the greyer, smoother brick of the existing, neighbouring buildings. “The brick choice was crucial,” explains Colin Veitch, director at GRID Architects. “We didn’t want the appearance of a normal mixed brick. The colour variation and texture that the Vandersanden product offers are an essential part of the richness of the overall design; they feel more natural and less engineered.”  GRID Architects had previously used Vandersanden products on Emerald Gardens, part of the same Wembley masterplan. “The bricks have a texture and almost handmade quality that you don’t get with many other brick types. When selecting the bricks for Repton Gardens we were looking at the colour first and foremost but, within that colour, the variation and the mix of slightly different colours within a batch. Another key consideration was the brick’s texture and the variation within that. We were very pleased with all these qualities and how they work together,” notes Veitch. The bricks were laid with a stretcher bond using a mortar as close as possible to the brick colour. Although slightly recessed, the joints are as flush as practicable so it feels like a homogeneous material across the wall. On the courtyard facades of the buildings, panels of corbeling were introduced to provide patterning - where the building cores meet there were no windows. To achieve this, every other course stands out by 20mm, creating light and shade to the facade. Appreciating the colour and texture of the buildings, both from afar and close up was an essential part of the vision. On arrival at Wembley Park station, the visitor looks towards Wembley stadium and sees the light coloured ends of these buildings at a distance and they appear to be smooth. Getting closer, the buildings reveal themselves differently as the texture, colour variations and tactility of the surfaces are perceived. Another goal was to tie together the external and internal visions. ‘Botanical living’ was the concept for both the inside and outside of the development. There is greenery, planting and colour in the corridors; it is about bringing nature inside. With this in mind, it felt right to have a natural feeling material on the outside; rather than a smooth and engineered product. Colin is enthusiastic about the resulting aesthetic. “The bricks have exceeded expectations and everybody is very pleased with the look of the project. Working with Vandersanden has been an incredibly positive experience!”

The solar shading screen by Maple Sunscreening is a stylish way to keep the lines and aesthetics of a building interesting, contemporary and smart, and to add colour and texture. The new Broadmarsh Centre is a key part of Nottingham’s plan to become the UK’s first carbon-neutral city. The site will have natural green spaces at its heart and will provide walkways based on a centuries-old city street plan to reconnect key parts of the city.A shade made to order                              Powder coating is an excellent finish for extruded aluminium, and Powdertech offers guarantees of up to forty years for the powders we apply. The designers wanted an earthy shade for the panels on the exterior of the car park, to blend in with landscaped green spaces. The designers sent us three pieces of terracotta in differerent sahdes and asked if we could match them. We developed the shades - light, medium and dark and the client chose the darkest shade which also reflects the red brick of some of the older buildings nearby. Powdertech coated the hollow rectangular box sections of 200mm by 50mm, making a total of 7,200sq metres of extruded aluminium coated and delivered, over a summer beleaguered by the coronavirus pandemic. Since 2012, Lee Valley has hosted the World Championships and two World Cups.In 2023, the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships will attract over 300 of the world's top athletes to the Lee Valley White Water Centre.A local contractor who knew RYNO was impressed by our composite decking, our service & reputation, and introduced us to the project manager of Lee Valley Park Authority.The project was a full refurb of The Terrace which had an ageing & poorly installed wooden decking and a damaged waterproofing membrane that was leaking through to areas underneath. Some of the boards had already been removed to inspect the damage and reveal the extent of the work that needed to be undertaken. Such was the state of the decking that the area had been cordoned off and the café was unable to make use of this space!What was required was a like-for-like replacement aesthetically, which is why we selected & installed our TerraSmart™ Composite system, featuring our Classic Decking Boards, supported by high-load bearing aluminium substructure & RDA-C ‘Clip-on’ Self-levelling Adjustable Decking Pedestal, ideal for terraces subject to high foot traffic.We recommended Valley Provincial as installers who stated: "The TerraSmart decking system was the perfect choice for this project. Over the Summer of 2018, Cyclehoop installed first batch of Bikehangars in Salford, Greater Manchester.Transport for Greater Manchester’s  overall aim is for the proportion of journeys made by bike to increase from 2 per cent today to 10% by 2025. This target has been broken down in to a package of proposed improvements for the region, partly funded by two Cycle City Ambition grants, awarded by the government and the Local Sustainable Transport Fund.Lack of secure cycle storage provision has been a barrier in realising this goal. At Cyclehoop, our commitment is to break down barriers that prevent people from cycling.In June this year, we installed 11 of our award-winning Bikehangars in June on residential streets in Salford. This will run for a test period of approximately 12 months. Cyclehoop’s team installed these 6-space units over the course of a week, primarily to provide cycle parking for residents with little or no internal space to store bikes.The Bikehangar has a galvanised sheet steel body that protects up to 6 bikes from the elements and vandalism. Along with a lockable, gas-sprung door which can only be accessed by registered members. Crucially, all of this is achieved in just half a car parking bay.If the Salford pilot is successful, Salford City Council and Transport for Greater Manchester plan to roll out the scheme to other areas. The FalcoZan is coupled with the popular five stand Toaster cycle rack, providing universal cycle parking for all types of cycle designs. The steelwork on each lockable store has been powder coated in an attractive RAL 5005 Signal Blue for added durability.Pictured here are both of the cycle shelter installations - one of which is located next to the spectacular Penthouse Suite, located within the Lòchran an Dòmhnallaich Tower.The FalcoZan-180 cycle shelter is the single sided version of the product range and meets EN1090 CPR which is UK law for cycle shelters. A base module is 3,980mm wide x 2,495mm deep, with a free head height of 2,100mm. The base module can be added to - to create a cycle shelter as wide as required, by using standard ‘add-on’ units.The steelwork and roof are hot dip galvanised to BS EN 1461 as standard with an option to polyester powder coat on top of this substrate if required. Featuring TECHNAL aluminium curtain walling, windows and door systems with the curtain walling extruded using Hydro CIRCAL® 75R contributing to reducing the building's carbon footprint and helped to achieve the BREEAM Very Good rating awarded. This £22 million project begin in February 2019 and comprises of a 7,500 sqm nett area. four-storey building which houses the headquarters for the leading software company, The Access Group. When completed in November 2020, the office development, funded by Leicestershire County Council, is said to be the largest, single-occupier office deal in Leicestershire.The TECHNAL team were approached to offer specification solutions to suit the aesthetics and meet the technical requirements of the project. Designed around a central core with a linking wing either side, aluminium Curtain Walling spans vertically, with the facade also incorporating aluminium casement windows and doors.
