Opened in 2017, contemporary English bistro Greedo Dining sits in the heart of Lymington’s high street in Hampshire, serving fresh, local produce in an intimate setting.

A luxury spa in Berkshire was looking to convert their terrace into an appealing dining area. The management needed a beautiful solution with minimum disruption, as the outdoor dining area was able to stay open to the public during construction. Duro Excellence EasyClick System was installed in colours denim and moor oak. The aluminium rail system was the perfect frame for the outdoor area’s low threshold. The boards simply clip down into place, ensuring swift, trouble-free installation. It was essential that the boards were not screwed through the surface, as customers were walking barefoot.

The enclosed dining canopy has hugely impressed everyone at Sydenham School. The high-quality finish was just what they wanted and the custom design created a facility that can be enjoyed on every school day of the year.

The dining and events canopy has been really well-received. The multi-purpose space met the school’s brief and students can enjoy concerts and lunchtimes in the fresh air at any point in the year, even if the weather isn’t up to scratch.

The students at Richmond Park Academy love the new dining canopy. It has become an invaluable facility; break times are now a more pleasant affair as everyone can choose from multiple areas and have a little more elbow room when eating lunch.

The new dining canopy was a true success at Kingsmead School. The grounds have been transformed and the students now have a fantastic new space where they can socialise, eat and take time away from their studies. It is incredibly useful as it has eased pressure on existing facilities.

Co-op Academy Failsworth loves the dining shelters; they let the students eat outside at break times which is beneficial for their wellbeing and helps to reduce pressure on indoor facilities. The contemporary feel of the canopies is welcome and attractive.

Salford City Academy was really pleased with the new canopy. Break times are now not so crowded and it’s easier for the children and staff alike to relax between lessons. The dining shelter is a fantastic, modern space for everything from eating to chatting with friends.

Great Baddow High School was delighted with the dining canopy; the bespoke structure met its needs efficiently and the way it worked with the existing architecture was a great success. It has created a welcoming place for students to gather, eat, chat and have fun during their breaks.

Often a challenge during the course of a busy school day, many schools experience pressure on facilities such as dining room areas.

Everyone at Whitemead Forest Park has fallen in love with the bespoke dining canopy. It is a fabulous addition to the facilities and has been invaluable in building the new outdoor space. Visitors can enjoy eating and socialising outdoors throughout the year.

The Conduit is an existing client of Caribbean Blinds having used our louvered pergolas at their previous club in Mayfair in 2018. Knowing both the benefits of installing louvered pergolas, providing flexible shade and shelter allowing the terrace to be used all year round, therefore providing an important revenue stream for the business along with a unique dining experience for their discerning members along with the service we offer, the Conduit wanted to replicate this at their new club in Covent Garden, albeit on a much larger scale.The new roof terrace, which was on the 7th floor, had a footprint of approx. 300sq/m. The client wanted to cover 2/3rds of this with pergolas, leaving the remaining 1/3rd completely open. The model was to be our Prestige Pod, which they had previously installed, where the louvered roof not only rotates but fully retracts and when closed is completely watertight. A total cluster of 8 modules were required to cover a surface area of c. 200sq/m. The perimeter edges were equipped with screens to offer protection from the elements to the sides. Additionally screens were inserted along with doorways between certain modules so areas could be zoned off for events and private functions. Each module had infra-red heating and festoon lighting installed to create a cosy and pleasant environment year round.A project of this size, requires clear communication, co-ordination and planning. We worked closely with the architect, designer, contractor and end client at every stage, to ensure a seamless process and journey. Site meetings were held with all parties. Full CAD drawings of the structures, positioning and importantly drainage, wiring and post mounting plate positions, which were highly critical as a steel sub frame had to be fabricated and installed and services run were provided. A dedicated project co-ordinator oversaw the entire project to ensure it run smoothly and on-time and in-budget.Like all roof terrace installations there were many challenges, from working at height to access with a road closure required for this project to allow craning of the goods to the terrace. Manufacture from order sign off for the bespoke pergolas was just 12 weeks, with installation taking 2 weeks, via our own trained teams and all in time for a VIP client 4th July party.Anthony Pollak, Facilities Director for The Conduit commented:“Having had a Caribbean blind pergola installation at our previous property we knew the quality of their products.When the opportunity came from our landlord to give us a substantial area to build a roof terrace we knew that we had to include Caribbean Blinds within the design.Installing the Caribbean Blinds pergolas has enabled us to use our roof terrace all year around. St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School had outgrown its dining room, which eventually could only seat half their pupils at a time. They looked at the options to increase dining space and realised that they couldn’t afford an extension building. That is when they contacted A&S Landscape and realised that an outdoor canopy, with side panels, power, heating and lighting could be a fantastic, cost-effective solution.

The dining canopy has been a fantastic addition to St Mary's and St John’s CE School. Students now have more choice when considering where to hang out with friends or eat at break times and lunchtimes, and queues in the indoor facilities have been significantly reduced!

Recently opened, the lavishly decorated Ivy Asia is a concept restaurant/bar set in the heart of London. Offering flexible dining, Style installed a semi-automatic Dorma Hüppe Variflex moveable wall, allowing an exclusive room for up to 35 guests to be quickly created. With the Variflex system delivering 38dB Rw acoustic integrity, the private guests can enjoy an intimate experience in the sectioned off room, while the rest of the bar and restaurant operates as normal. The panel facings have a simple priming sheet finish, allowing the restaurant to decorate them with their own flamboyantly Asian-themed graphics,

An al-fresco experience like no other; where you can relax and enjoy award-winning English sparkling wines alongside perfectly paired seasonal plates, with views over the growing vines and the South Downs beyond. That was the vision for Ridgeviews Rows & Vine Restaurant.  Being an outdoor only restaurant it was imperative that the space could be used in all weather conditions to ensure maximum revenue year round. Therefore as part of the design a series of canopies were incorporated on the zoned terraces along with adjacent to the bar area to provide diners with a comfortable space to enjoy the iconic views and the perfect spot to sip, savour and celebrate.  Working closely with the project architect, our Deluxe Outdoor Living Pod – 4 double modules totalling almost 200sq/m of coverage were specified. Featuring a louvered roof that rotates through 150 degrees and is waterproof when closed, the perfect atmosphere can be created on the terrace beneath throughout the seasons. Additionally integrated side screens prevent both breezes and driving rain, whilst infra-red heaters keep the chill away and LED ambient lighting to the inside of the cross beams softly illuminates the terrace on darker afternoons and evenings.  Matt Gayler, General Manager at Ridgeview commented:  “We wanted to design and create an amazing space that blended in naturally with the environment surrounding it. Though alfresco lead design, we wanted to be able to operate 12 months of the year whilst always delivering an engaging customer experience. The Deluxe Outdoor Living Pod was selected because of its adaptability and design with the structures becoming an integral part of the scheme. Caribbean Blinds were efficient from design to on-site logistics and being a UK manufacturer gave us peace of mind.” From design to installation the project took just 12 weeks, with installation completed in less than 2 weeks, all ready for the official opening and first private event – a vineyard wedding! Transforming a run-down pub into a sleek, modern restaurant and bar was made all the easier with the latest Dulux Trade ScuffShield Matt. With its unique formulation and ultimate scuff resistant technology, it’s perfect for maintaining that crisp, just painted look for longer. Paul Schofield Managing director of PA Schofield Ltd explained: “New Dulux Trade ScuffShield Matt is a great product that really works. It has really good application and absolutely no flashing at all. The clients are over the moon with the finish and durability of the product, and so are we. We will use it again without question.” As director of PA Schofield Ltd, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Paul was given complete responsibility for conceiving and implementing all design decisions. For his starting point, Paul paired statement wallpapers with contemporary floor finishes. He complimented the wallpaper through a colour scheme that combined colours such as Coyote Grey, Perfectly Taupe and Winter Avenue. Ceilings were painted in Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt, while Dulux Trade Satinwood was used on the trim and Dulux Trade ScuffShield Matt on the walls, along with Dulux Trade Diamond Matt in some areas. Dulux Trade ScuffShield Matt is an ultra-tough formulation, designed to cope with the scuffs and everyday wear and tear of busy commercial spaces. And he identified a number of benefits from using it on the project, explaining: “It flowed really well on rollers and brushes and left an excellent finish overall. “And there was no flashing or colour difference from roller to cutting in. “It’s really brilliant for touching in, too. We’d often have to redo entire walls as spots we’d touched in stood out like a sore thumb, but there was none of that with the new Dulux Trade ScuffShield Matt.” Paul was supported on the project by Lee Crossland, Leeds and Yorkshire Technical Support Manager for Dulux Decorator Centre 360. Lee said: “I’d heard PA Schofields was about to start work on the high-end restaurant conversion so got in contact with Paul to let him know about our new product that would be perfect for him. “I talked Paul through the benefits of Dulux Trade ScuffShield Matt and that the appearance of the finish would be an ideal fit for the design he was looking to achieve, while explaining how the improved durability would allow the restaurant to look better for longer. From start to finish the process took 18 months. And Paul has been checking in to see how the Dulux Trade ScuffShield Matt has been performing. He added: “The clients are very happy that the paint cleaned easily without removing the paint from the plaster substrate. Henderson’s sliding door hardware systems were specified by Penton Architects for the central dining space and garage of the architects’ own rural new build. Adam Penton commented: “The large sliding doors to the central dining space utilise P C Henderson’s Lift and Slide Base System which was specified for its performance and ability to be housed into a bespoke glazed timber screen and cill system.” The dining room doors open up the side of the house and are used daily during the summer months for ventilation and access to external terracing to create an indoor / outdoor experience.

An outdoor dining and break-out space was developed for employees as part of the overhaul of a council's headquarters.

Rutland Hall Hotel is set in just under 70 acres, with majestic views across Rutland water. The central dining area, Blossoms Restaurant, alongside Blossoms Bar and Terrace serves refined international cuisine, making it one of the best places to eat in Rutland.Brief:The hotel owners instructed an extensive refurbishment of the hotel’s dining, public areas and bedrooms. The first part of the hotel to be relaunched was Blossoms Restaurant Bar & Terrace. Working with furniture suppliers, Contract Furniture Group and interior designers, Curveline Design, scheme boards were created incorporating Skopos fabrics for the upholstery, voiles and blinds to create an elegant and stylish area of the hotel, reflective of Rutland Hall’s stunning location.Outcome:Palmyra Oceanic, a bold statement print from The Silk Roads collection, was chosen for dining chairs and booth seating. Matt velvet Bonita upholstery fabric was also used for contrasting dining chairs. Plain bright colourways, Amarillo and Turquoise, were selected to co-ordinate perfectly with the tones included in the print.Roman blinds in the restaurant also used the same Palmyra print. The sunny south facing windows required each blind to be blackout lined. Mystic Monsoon voile from the Zephyr collection was installed at each window on a wave headed track to take advantage of the evening sun and reflect golden tones into the room.Lounge chairs in the private dining area were upholstered in Cadiz metallic herringbone velvet, from the La Feria collection. Assorted colours in Aquarius, Lava and Forest created a relaxed eclectic feel.Skopos specialist fitters completed the track, blind and voile curtain installation.

In response to the aspirations of our up-and-coming fast-food customer, seeking to extend the dining experience into the inviting embrace of summer months, we embarked on a project to seamlessly integrate a patio terrace with their new restaurant. Positioned at the front of the establishment, this terrace would not only enhance the dining experience but also provide patrons with a warm and enticing view of the dining facility.To bring this vision to life, we proposed a sophisticated bi-folding system designed to offer an expansive opening, effectively blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. This innovative solution provided a seamless transition, allowing guests to seamlessly move between the restaurant’s interior and the charming patio terrace. Moreover, the bi-folding system was equipped with an easy-to-use lockable folding door mechanism, ensuring both security and convenience for staff. To further personalise the space and align with the customer’s corporate identity, custom graphics were incorporated, adding a unique touch that resonated with the brand’s ethos and aesthetic.
