The SSE Hydro is the biggest performance arena ever designed by Foster + Partners. Lang+Fulton have now supplied a decorative solution for the stage entrance constructed from their STEREO-KINETIC cladding system. Each stainless steel sheet is engraved with name of an artist, commemorating their performance. When the Hydro first opened in 2013 Lang+Fulton supplied the Roma-3 grating fence which secures the perimeter of the complex and storage compounds, as well as a Micro-15 balustrade for the elevated walkway which connects the car parking facilities with the venue. Pioneer Square is a mixed use retail and leisure development in the the heart of Bicester in Oxfordshire, anchored by a Sainsbury’s superstore and including a 7-screen cinema, offices, library and hotel.As a regeneration project within the city centre, it included a 526 space car park over two levels. Lang+Fulton supplied 134 panels of Terra-34 open mesh grating to act as a security barrier over an area of 1010m2. In addition, 85 panels of Italia-100 louvres in various dimensions were supplied to cover an area of 231m2 which required visual screening.

The final phase of the £500m redevelopment of Kings Cross has been completed with the creation of a 75,000 sq ft square in front of the station.The square has granite benches with inset panels of high quality stainless steel grating supplied by Lang+Fulton, stunning lighting, trees and an area dedicated to art.The 11×66/25×2 heel-proof grating panels for the six separate seating areas were shaped to accommodate the up-lighters, the planting and adjacent watering points and were supplied in stainless steel grade AISI-316L with a satin finish.

Howe Green designed and supplied made-to-measure tree pit covers for a new social dining experience - The Winter Garden at Bluewater. The bespoke panels and frames facilitate access to the root chamber and make maintenance of the highly valuable trees straightforward. The covers were made from 304-grade stainless steel. Each tree pit was manufactured to individual size requirements and to accommodate light fittings. They were supplied with a double-seal to prevent dirt ingress which also helps protect the tree and keep the soil free from contamination.

Award winning developer Hill required a seamless solution to accessing concealed bathroom services at The Scene, Walthamstow and their Park View development in Sidcup. Howe Green supplied the Tile-a-Door+ Wall Access Panels manufactured in a bespoke size to fit Hill’s specific tile grids. The panels can be custom made to the millimetre and are supplied ready to tile with up to a 10mm thick finish, making the installation process quick and straightforward Howe Green’s Tile-a-Door+ panels ensure that access for any future repairs or maintenance will be faster, easier and cost-efficient.

Havas Media Group is a global network of entertainment, media and communications agencies, that has recently opened its new ‘HKX’ village in Pancras Square, London to unite twenty-four of its UK operations in a stunning new European headquarters. Given the nature of the fast-moving office environment at Havas, the combination of 14,000m2 raised access floors and 3,000m2 of Attiro magnetic engineered timber (supplied by Fieldmans, one of Kingspan’s supply and install partners) allows for the easy reconfiguration of office layouts and furniture, as well as providing instant access to the underfloor void.

At Yealmpton Primary to the East of Plymouth in South Devon all children are encouraged to be more active during break and lunch times with sports and fitness at the forefront of that focus. When the school implemented a refurbishment programme for their multi-use hall and kitchen servery area, they turned to international flooring specialist Gerflor to supply their world class Taraflex® Multi-Use vinyl sports flooring and their Tarasafe Ultra safety flooring. An Isolsport underlay was also supplied by Gerflor, enabling the installer to lay the Taraflex® Multi Use directly over the existing Granwood floor.
