Zircon® Polished Concrete is durable with seamless, chic finish.
Zircon is designed as an internal finished floor for both commercial and residential properties.
Zircon® Polished Concrete has been designed to comply with the requirements of BS EN 206-1 Concrete Part 1: Specification, performance, production and conformity, and with the requirements of BS 8500.
Zircon® is available in a wide range of colours, finishes and different aggregate types, providing a wide palette of possibilities. Refer to the Zircon® colour chart or colour sample packs are available on request to help select the correct colour for your application. During the grinding and polishing process, different aesthetics can be achieved by varying the grind depth.
When designing a slab, Zircon® will behave in exactly the same way as conventional concrete. Slab thickness and reinforcing requirements should be designed the same as conventional concrete. Particular attention should be given to joint spacing, bay sizes and shapes to avoid random cracking. The recommended minimum slab thickness minimum is 100 mm.
