For laminate below 4 mm - The reaction to fire of Formica® Laminate is related to the final composite panel where the laminate is bonded to a substrate. Since the test results also depend on the substrate, the adhesive and the bonding techniques applied, the composite manufacturer is responsible for the correct execution of the test in accordance with the applicable standards and test methods required for the specific application field.

Digital Print is restricted to inherent CMYK values and print settings. Colours supplied by customer.

Print Alignment.

Guidance for specification option:

Internal alignment of the prints cannot be guaranteed. The laminate can be supplied with cut marks for secondary trimming to exact sizes with a tolerance of +/- 1.5 mm per linear metre. External off square <1.5 mm/m, internal print off square <7 mm/m.

Double-Sided Alignment.

Guidance for specification option:

Image for double sided compact are not guaranteed to align exactly, Formica Group will try to align images within 10 mm of each other, however due to manufacturing processes this cannot be guaranteed.

Dimensional stability

To EN 438-2:17, Longitudial - ≤ 0.55%, Transversal - ≤ 1.05%.

Impact resistance

To EN 438-2: 20, ≥ 20N.

Lightfastness

Guidance for specification option:

  • Younique Digital-print laminates are supplied in standard grade HGS.
  • Due to chemical and physical characteristics of Younique range, these laminates may present limitation in application with presence of elevated temperatures and repeated contact with water and vapour.
