Application

Facade cladding suitable for housing complexes, universities, hospitals, shops, parking garages and screening.

Can be fitted onto concrete and steel structures, as well as curved facades.

Description

Tailor-made click-fix facade cladding solution, with wood lamella slats mounted onto an aluminium panel system.

Features and benefits:

  • Provides the entire facade solution.
  • Tailored to project requirements.
  • Functions as a closed climate screen that protects the building from weathering and has underlying ventilation, which ensures that the facade can breathe.
  • Wood components: Uses FSC® or PEFC™ certified wood, which guarantees responsible and sustainable forestry and traceability throughout the supply chain. The thermal treatment is applied as standard (Burnblocks), and ensures dimensional stability and high lifespan, with durability up to 50+ years depending on the type of wood.
  • Auminium components: Sustainable system with Greenline Aluminium components, which requires no maintenance and has an expected lifespan of more than 70 years.
  • Suitable for fire-proof constructions - Fire End Use classification tested and approved according to European standards (BR18).
  • Offers natural pre-patination, ensuring that all of the project’s lamella are patinated evenly, regardless of position and location of the mounting.
  • Designed with clean, sharp lines.
  • Installed with a single click.
  • Lamella are designed with an optional centre-to-centre distance and are mounted horizontally, vertically, as a ceiling or as a roof.
  • No visible screws.
  • Built-in thermal movement.
  • Quick and easy installation.
  • Aluminium fixing components are manufactured from 100% collected and recycled aluminium.
  • Available in a wide range of wood types including ash, pine, cedar, ayous and accoya.
  • Manufactured in accordance with EN 16755 and EN 14915.

System components:

  • Ventilated aluminium HAT-profile panel.
  • Lamella.
  • Mounting screws.

Installation:

  • Mounting: Begins with a start profile or rebate profile if setup is started at a window or door (start, end and rebate profiles are available in varying widths).
  • Click: The panel is angled into the previous coupling and, as a starting point, is pulled to the right for maximum cover width. The panel is then tilted in one one complete motion towards the suspension profile and into place with a click.
  • Fix: When the panel is in place against the suspension profile, fasten with a rust-free mounting screw. Panels are prepared for thermal movement. The thermal 0 point must be placed equally on all panels.

Variable single, double and corner panels are available, with recessed holes for facade screws, which are hidden when the panels are clipped together.

Components with different width variants help to ensure that the system takes into account the differences in dimensional tolerances between what is drawn and what is built - profile widths of 17.5, 25, 32.5, 40, and 47.5 mm are available. The individual panels allow for 5.5 mm adjustment per grouping.

Note that solutions can be incorporated for corner solutions, section divisions, and transitions with the following:

  • External corners.
  • Internal corners.
  • Horizontal transitions (with continuous or broken aluminium panel).
  • Window and door rebates (starting at 17.5 mm, with increments of 7.5 mm).
  • Sectional separations (using zipper profile).

Fire retardant treatment

Burnblocks fire retardant.

Guidance for specification option:

100% non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and naturally biodegradable.

Maintains fire technical properties (ISO 5660-1) both before and after accelerated aging tests according to test method EN 927-6, which is part of EN 16755:2017.
