Watershed

Watershed is an effective DDA compliant external door threshold system which consists of a threshold plate, compatible with a door contact strip or weatherboard to suit single and double, external doors.

• An effective external door threshold seal/strip with hidden fixings, designed to suit inward and outward opening, single and double leaf, external doors. Watershed offers you a high performance draught, weather and acoustic sealing solution.
• The variety of threshold profiles means that it is possible to finish off a range of floor finishes neatly against this aluminium section.
• The low-rise threshold profiles ensures DDA compliance with Building Regulations Approved Document M of the Building Regulations in relation to visitable dwellings, accessible and adaptable dwellings and wheelchair user dwellings.
• The variety of weatherboard (sometimes known as an external door weather bar) and contact strip profiles ensures that the seal can be used on period and contemporary door and frame designs. Suitable for a variety of doors including composite doors, soft wood doors, red wood doors and oak doors.
• Weatherboards are available in a variety of finishes including aluminium, soft wood, redwood, hard wood. i.e. hard wood can be used for an oak door weatherboard.
• The channel collects water that has managed to by-pass the rubber blade seals and, through pre-drilled weep holes, this drains to the outside of the building, ensuring a high level of performance.
