Application
- For wood fibre insulation boards applied to porous backgrounds.
- Applied with a notched trowel onto the back of wood fibre boards, before pushing up against the wall. It has sufficient grab to hold the board, but a supplementary mechanical fixing may be used if desired.
Description
Warmshell Board Adhesive is designed to bond wood fibre boards to brick or other porous mineral backgrounds. It keeps the wall breathable and functions as a wicking layer, moving water away to where it can dry out. Warmshell Board Adhesive also works to prevent mould and rot with its naturally alkaline nature, and because it is mineral it is an integral part of the fire safety of any wood fibre installation on walls.
