Fire Class A2 insulation board for thin wall retrofits. Warmshell Aerogel Board can be used on solid walls which need a breathable option.
Application
Typical areas where aerogel boards can be used when retrofitting solid walls and areas of limited depth with thin insulation:
- Window reveals and window heads.
- Underneath sills (use with airtight tape).
- Door jambs.
- Bay window insulation.
- Cornices.
Description
Warmshell Aerogel Insulation Boards are made from aerogel, the warmest insulation available. The boards are Class A for fire and vapour open, so they are particularly suited to retrofit insulation, especially useful for reveals, window heads and areas of limited depth. The boards come as a rigid slab which are fixed and primed using adhesive, making them ready to plaster.
