Secondary support structure

CLAD-LINE CL2 Sub-Frame System.

Guidance for specification option:

Aluminium support system comprising extruded vertical support rail (CL2) with adjustable wall attachment brackets to suit cladding zone.

CLAD-LINE’s CL2 rails are fixed using the CL range of support brackets which provide up to 30 mm adjustment of the rail face. Fixed Point (dead load) brackets are designed to absorb vertical dead loads while the Sliding Point brackets allow for expansion and contraction and are designed to absorb wind loads.

The CL2 Weather Gasket is installed into the slot within the CL2 rail.

CLAD-LINE’s CL2 fixing hook is secured to the CL2 rail. The corresponding panel slot engages with the fixing hook to provide a restraint fixing. An anti-uplift/dead fixing should be installed through the top lip of the Unity A1/A2 SF panel into CL2 rail.

CLAD-LINE F2F (Floor to Floor) Sub-Frame System.

Guidance for specification option:

Floor to floor spanning support system comprising an extruded vertical sheeting rail (Rail Type 3), a Primary Angle Bracket, a BS Link Bracket (allowing for up to 30 degree rotation), Link Bracket Fixing Assemblies, a Fixed Point Clip and a Sliding Point Clip (if required).

The CL2 Weather Gasket is fixed to the F2F Rail Type 3.

CLAD-LINE’s CL2 fixing hook is secured to the F2F Rail Type 3. The corresponding panel slot engages with the fixing hook to provide a restraint fixing. An anti-uplift/dead fixing should be installed through the top lip of the Unity A1/A2 SF panel into F2F Rail.
