TRADECC PC Leakinject Hydrogel 6880 - Flexible Foaming Polyurethane Injection Resin


  • Stage 1 stemming of water-flow thorough joints, cracks, voids and defects within concrete structures and steel piled walls.
  • Stage 2 sealing of dry, cracks voids and defects after Stage 1 has been carried out.


A single component polyurethane injection resin that provides a flexible seal in voids and non-structural cracks, or reacts with water to form a flexible, closed-cell foam. The resin is able to seal both pressurised and non-pressurised leaks, whilst its flexibility makes it ideal for applications where movement is expected.

The flexibility of the cured product makes it suitable for cracks and joints where future movement is expected, however the product is applicable in a range of both pressurised and non-pressurised scenarios, including leaks, cracks and voids in the walls and floors of concrete and masonry structures, tunnels, and sewer pipes.

  • Good adhesion to mineral construction materials such as concrete, masonry and mortar.
  • When in contact with water, a dense, closed-cell polyurethane foam expands to fill the crack or void.
  • Where no water is present, TRADECC Leakinject Hydrogel 6880 penetrates deep into the crack or void and cures to form a flexible, polyurethane seal.
  • Fast, uncontrolled reaction in contact with water.
  • Medium to low viscosity.
  • Flexible with low strength.
  • Stable with no further shrinkage or expansion.

Newton ReSeal System:

The Newton ReSeal System consists of a range of Newton’s advanced concrete repair mortars and injection resins to seal structural and non-structural cracks and defects, whether they are dry or leaking large volumes of water.

The products in the Newton ReSeal System can be used to repair a number of defects, including spalled and broken concrete to walls and pillars, road repairs, and cracks and honeycombing to concrete basement wall, soffits and floors.
