Description
Vincent Timber’s Thermally Modified Ayous is a sustainable hardwood timber cladding option offering exceptional stability and durability for long-term exterior applications. Its rich brown tone with a bronze glow and virtually knot-free finish makes it ideal for refined architectural designs.
Ayous is thermally modified using only heat and steam, creating a chemical-free product with enhanced dimensional stability and Durability Class 1 rating. With a very low moisture content (approx. 8% M/C), it resists swelling and shrinking, ensuring reliable performance. Left uncoated, it naturally weathers to an elegant silver-grey patina over time.
