Specially formulated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) closed cell foam tape providing a thermal break, cushioning and acoustic reduction for a range of construction applications.
Applications include:
A specially formulated, polyvinyl chloride closed cell foam with enhanced surface layer protection. Used widely in joist, stud and beam taping to help with sound control and overcome cold bridging. The tape consists of a pressure sensitive adhesive coated to one side for easy fitment and a protective durable surface layer on the other. The material does not mould or mildew and can help prevent condensation caused by temperature differentials. When used in steel studwork this product can help eliminate "ghosting" stains that outline metal studs in the wall.
