Plastic telescopic acoustic cavity liner set.
Application
- Background room ventilation, for use in noisy areas to reduce the amount of noise entering the building for a more peaceful environment.
- As a plastic component this item is not suitable for use within the external walls of high-rise buildings requiring non-combustible materials.
Description
Plastic, telescopic acoustic cavity liner set, compliant with BS 5250.
Features and benefits:
- Telescopic cavity liner contains a system of internal baffles to reduce light and draughts.
- Reduces sound by 39 dB with internal grille fully open and 40 dB when closed.
- Internal hit and miss grille manually adjusted with a sliding action allowing ventilation to be controlled as required.
- External water baffles prevent transfer of water across the cavity.
- Air brick and hit and miss grille UV stabilized to slow down the effects of sunlight.
- BRE verified equivalent area.
