Surestop SWB

Fully coated, rigid galvanized sheet steel waterstop with a double-sided styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) bitumen coating and minimum embedment depth of 30 mm.

Features and benefits:

• Easy to install in all weather conditions.

• The omega brackets and stirrups are provided to prevent displacement of the strip or coil (one to be used per metre).

• The 30 mm embedment depth ensures a resistance to 2 bar of water.

• Will not swell, and will not react with chemicals.

• Provides permanent quality control due to the safety line.

• The surface is covered against contamination with four protective foils that are progressively removed before each stage of pouring concrete, and which protects against dirt and debris build-up on the coating.

• Can be bent to suit corners and T-joints.

Applications:

Can be used for the sealing of all construction joints against pressurized and non-pressurized water. Also suitable for:

• Use at the base of a wall to a concrete slab.

• Kickerless construction.

• Use in combination with other shuttering systems, it can be used as a stop-end in floor plates, walls and ceilings.

At low temperatures (below 5°C), warm the overlapping joints gently with a blow-lamp. To be overlapped at 50 mm. Installation should be in the middle of the wall section and in between the rising reinforcement – consult manufacturer for further information.
