Application

  • Used in housing, apartments, laboratories, gyms, sports halls and offices.
  • For indoor use (other joist variations offer greater environmental flexibility).
  • Can be assembled on any base.
  • Renovation with SubFloor: For levelling uneven floors, raising the floor a step height or allowing for installations under the floor.
  • In situ cast SubFloors: Simple floor levelling with off-site prefabricated bathrooms.

Description

SubFloor provides a precision raised floor system ranging from 12 to 398 mm in height, creating an ideal space for installations and insulation.

The straightforward SubFloor system comprises wooden joists, screws, and screw feet, with the sizes and materials adjustable based on functional requirements. Typically, chipboard flooring is used on top, allowing for any type of flooring material to be applied.

With the SubFloor system, the thickness of cast flooring can be reduced. For instance, a cast floor of 300 mm can be minimized to 200 mm while maintaining or even improving sound insulation. This results in a lighter overall construction with better economic efficiency. The installation space created also facilitates adjustments and future renovations.

Features and Benefits:

  • Dry, Fast Installation: Installed directly on untreated subfloors without the need for wet surface leveling, chemical additives, or long drying times.
  • Flexible Installation Routing: Ample space between the surface flooring and subfloor for easy routing.
  • Lightweight Construction: Weighing between 2.36 kg/m² and 9.5 kg/m².
  • Precision and Adjustability: High accuracy and adjustability using quality materials.
  • High Load Tolerance: Compliant with EKS (European Construction Standards) for robust performance.
  • Versatile Height: Precision raised floors from 12 to 398 mm, with the possibility of even higher flooring.
  • Sustainable Materials: All wood used in SubFloor is sourced from PEFC-certified sawmills and suppliers.
