Application
Suitable for installation directly onto timber joists.
Description
A resilient structural acoustic flooring system that is applied directly onto timber joists: it consists of a high density barrier base bonded to a resilient layer that is pre-bonded to tongued and grooved flooring grade chipboard.
For best performance, 6 mm thick Isolating Strip should be applied to the top of the joists before SoundDeck Extra is installed. Not only will that enhance the acoustic performance, but it will also level uneven joists, reducing the likelihood of resonance and/ or squeaking problems.
