Waterproof tile backer boards for floors providing decoupling, impact sound insulation and thermal insulation. Typically used to stop footfall noise on a tiled floor being heard in the room or flat underneath.

The SoundBoard will remove the solid link between where the impact sound happens (floor/ ceiling) with a layer of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) foam. The side with the sound attenuating layer will then effectively isolate the tiles and the tile backer board from the floor, so the impact sound vibrations cannot be transmitted into the room below.
