Description

Cementitious, flexible tile adhesive for the installation of ceramic wall and floor coverings and discoloration-resistant natural stone tiles. This tile adhesive meets C2 TE S1 requirements to DIN EN 12 004, and offers good workability and high sag resistance. Suitable for use in conjunction with floor heating, flexible brush-on waterproof coatings and fully vitrified stoneware. Low-chromate to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex XVII.

  • Renders made from masonry cement.

- Sopro GD 749 primer:

For use on calcium sulfate (anhydrite and self-levelling anhydrite) screeds to receive tiles with edge length not exceeding 60 cm and of size not exceeding 0.2 m², paperless gypsum wall panels, gypsum plasterboard/ joints and filler, gypsum fibreboard, gypsum plaster, high-or variable-suction (interior) aerated concrete; lime/ cement render, renders made from masonry cement, flush-jointed masonry.

- Sopro HPS 673 bonding primer:

For use on smooth and closed-pore substrates, e.g., existing tile, terrazzo, natural and cast stone coverings; adhesive residue from PVC flooring or carpeting; mastic asphalt screeds without sand blinding.

- Sopro MGR 637 multi-purpose primer/ Sopro EPG 522 epoxy primer:

For use on calcium sulfate based (anhydrite and self-levelling anhydrite) screeds to receive tiles with edge length exceeding 60 cm or of size exceeding 0.2 m².

Use of a rapid-set Sopro thin-bed adhesive is recommended for external areas during cold conditions.

Technical characteristics:

  • Deformability: ≥2.5 mm.
  • Coat thickness: 5 mm in compacted adhesive bed (maximum).
  • Application temperature: 5–30°C (maximum).
  • Coverage: Approximately 1.1 kg/m² per mm coat thickness.
  • Walkable/ grout-able: After 12 hours (approximately).
  • Loading: In commercial facilities: After three days (approximately). In areas subject to high wet exposure and areas with wall and floor heating: After 14 days (approximately). For underwater applications: After 28 days (approximately).
  • Tensile adhesion strength after dry, water, heat storage and freeze-thaw cycles: ≥1.0 N/mm².
