Description

Antistatic, smooth heavy-duty polyurethane flooring screed providing a smooth protective antistatic floor finish suitable for applications in predominantly dry ESD and ECF environments.

Features and benefits:

  • Expert installation by fully trained and licensed applicators.
  • Resistant to bacterial or mould growth.
  • Suitable for application on to seven-day-old concrete and three-day-old polymer screed.
  • Electrostatically conductive.
  • Very good resistance to specific chemicals.
  • Very good mechanical resistance.
  • Impermeable to liquids.
  • Non-tainting after curing.
  • Odourless.
  • Thermal expansion properties similar to concrete.
  • Tolerant to substrates with high moisture content.

Insert requirements, 4–6 mm.

Coverage

Primer (Sika® Ucrete® PLC): 2–3 kg/m² for 3–5 mm topcoat.
Earthing connection (copper tape): maximum distance 10 m between strips.
Wearing layer (Sika® Ucrete® MF 40 AS): 8–10 kg/m² for 4 mm layer; 12–14 kg/m² for 6 mm layer.

To BS 6319 Part 5, ~1.97 kg/L (mixture).

Typical compressive strength

To EN 13892-2, 50 N/mm² (cured 28 days at +23°C).

Tensile strength

To BS 6319-7, 9 MPa (cured 28 days at +20°C).

Coefficient of thermal expansion

To ASTM C531 Part 4.05, 3.6 × 10E-5/°C.

Slip resistance

To EN 13036-4, PTV, slider 96: 35 wet conditions.
To DIN 51130, Class R10.

Chemical resistance

Laboratory-defined resistance to many individual chemicals.

Guidance for specification option:

Note: Electrostatic behaviour measurement results can be affected by ESD clothing, ambient conditions, measurement equipment, cleanliness of the floor and the test personnel.

Curing time

Substrate temperature: +18°C; return to traffic <24 hours.
Substrate temperature: +15°C; return to traffic in 4 hours (with Sika® Ucrete® Accelerator).

Service temperature

-15 to +70°C.
