Application

Suitable for use on inverted roofs. Suitable for use with all shield systems.

Description

Introduced specifically to meet the needs of high performance insulation. It is a closed cell type extruded polystyrene board with integral high density skin.


The insulation utilizes infra-red blocking particles to scatter and reflect heat radiation. It has a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 5.

When ballasted with aggregate (minimum depth of 50mm), or fully supported cast stone or mineral slab of at least 40mm thickness, a roof construction incorporating ShieldBOARD XPS HP may be considered to be of designation EXT.F.AA (Broof T4) and as such unrestricted by the National Building Regulations
