Steel insulated panels 610 x 40 mm. 40 mm insulated CFC-free rigid polyurethane foam, density 40 kg/m³. Panels have a U value of 0.8 W/m ²k and are completed with pre drilled galvanised steel end caps. EPDM 2 mm thick weather proof seals to top and side reveals.

Guidance for specification option:

Panels can be solid, include vision panels or be fully glazed.(Maximum of one vision panel per linear metre width up to a maximum of five per panel).

Manufacturer guidance

Door panels can be coated in either a polyester or plastisol finish to outer skin only. Standard internal panel finish is stucco embossed PPC finish in RAL 9010.

Manufacturer guidance

Door curtain and guides can be supplied BS EN 12206-1 DuPont® polyester powder coated (PPC) to the Fortress Pro-Tec range of 29 BS and RAL colours. Matt PPC finishes only. All finishes are applied in-house using an electrostatic process. Under normal circumstances average film thickness of 60-80 μm (microns) is applied. Non-standard colours are available on request - this may increase lead times. Please consult Fortress SEFA for advice.

Control

BS EN 12453 Hold-to-run and dead-man close automation for applications Controls where there are untrained door users. Drive unit incorporates a manual release for emergency use of hand chain.

Hardware

Doors supplied with adjustable side hinges complete with carriers, intermediate hinges, nylon and steel rollers, cable sets, bottom corner brackets, spring bumpers, self tapping panel fixings. Doors up to 5000mm wide will be supplied with single hardware and single width end caps. Doors 5001mm wide and above will be supplied with double hardware and double end caps. Doors 6001mm wide and above will be supplied with wind bracing bars. All doors are fitted with cable and spring brake safety device as standard.
