Non-setting bedding sealant for metal joints.
Application
Suitable:
- For bedding seams, mouldings, rails, window and door frames and many other types of covered joints in portable buildings.
- For sealing some seam or lap joints in metal constructions.
Not suitable for use in joints that may trap or harbour standing water.
Not recommended for use on surfaces which can be affected by white spirit e.g. bitumen.
Description
Non-setting bedding sealant for metal joints.
Features and benefits:
- High performance bedding sealant with a solvent release curing system.
- Does not form a skin but leaves a dry surface which remains pliable after curing.
- Good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, especially coated metals.
- Good weather resistant properties.
- Good application characteristics either with hand applied or air operated guns.
- High performance in low movement joints.
- Easy to tool and clean off using Hodgson’s Caravan Sealant Cleaner - consult manufacturer for details.
- Base technology: Synthetic rubber polymer.
- Good mould resistance.
- Slump: Nil (up to 20 x 10 mm vertical channel).
- Non-staining.
