Description

A highly concentrated styrene butadiene emulsion used to make polymer mortars, screeds and renders. The improvements allow the production of high strength wearing screeds, thin section screeds, repair mortars and waterproof mortars.

Technical characteristics:

  • Colour: Milky white liquid.
  • Composition: Styrene-butadiene co-polymer latex.
  • Compressive strength: 45–50 N/mm².
  • Flexural strength: Up to 13 N/mm².
  • Freeze thaw resistance: Excellent.
  • Water vapour permeability: Less than 4 g/m²/ 24 hour through an 11 mm thick test piece.
  • Adhesion: Excellent to concrete, steel, brick, glass, etc.
  • Chemical resistance: Resists mild acids, alkalis, sulfates, chlorides, urine, dung, lactic acid, sugar, etc.
  • pH: 9.5 - 10.5 (ISO 976).
  • Viscosity at 23 °C: 20 - 200 mPa s (ISO 1652).
