Soffit Slab consists of a non-combustible rigid ROCKWOOL® board with a variety of facings and is particularly suited for providing cost effective fire resistance and thermal insulation through soffits and similar applications.
The robust stone-wool slab offers significant thermal insulation, acoustic absorption and up to 4 hours fire resistance. It is available in a range of thicknesses with a facing options including aluminium foil or black / white tissue facing.
Hi impact soffit slab is available with a 6 mm rigid Promat PROMATECT® HD board facing, this combination of two non-combustible products provides increased impact resistance and durability.
Rockwool insulation products do not contain blowing agents with an ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP), are CFC-HCFC-HFC free and 97% recyclable. They will not react with metal components or cause loss of plasticiser from PVC cables and pipes.
