High performing flexible membrane for visible and pitched roofs, giving both functional and aesthetically pleasing effects of metallic silver and copper.
Application
Mechanical fastening is suited for lightweight, metal deck structures, for large industrial buildings, warehouses, logistic centers, etc. It can also be applied on concrete structures or wooden decks.
The roofing membrane is fastened to the substrate along the longitudinal edges by means of pressure plates and screws. Wind load calculations can accurately determine the exact number of fasteners to be used in order to avoid any risk of wind uplift.
At the overlap, the membrane is hot air welded. The hot air welded joints are at least as strong as the roofing membrane itself. Quick and easy to apply, in all weather conditions, the system provides a durable watertightness of the roof.
Description
With RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Metallics, RENOLIT offers flexible, high performing and functional roofing membranes with a metallic (aluminium/silver and copper) appearance.
The silver and copper finish, makes these roofing membranes exceptionally well suited to visible/pitched roofs (minimum pitch 30 mm/m).
The roofing membranes are provided with a clearcoat. This is a transparent protective layer applied during the production process. The clearcoat makes it harder for dirt to adhere to the roofing membrane, and facilitates cleaning of the membrane with water. The combination of the RENOLIT ALKORPLAN roofing membrane and the clear coat makes the ALKORPLAN Metallics the top products in the RENOLIT roofing membrane range.
Besides the roofing membranes themselves, synthetic standing seam profiles are available in silver and copper which enhance the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the roof even further. Details of the standing seam system can be found in the information on the RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Design range.
