Rapidor Food - Self-repairing Food Grade Speed Door

The door offers a quiet and reliable operation and is available with opening speeds up to 2.5 m/s, maximizing efficiency. With its zipper edge curtain, the door gives an excellent seal. This feature, combined with the door’s soft bottom edge enables the curtain to self-repair in the event of an impact, reducing maintenance and repair costs.

Specifically designed for use in areas where food production machinery is washed down, the door is resistant to water over-spray. The door curtain rolls up into a compact headbox which is constructed with a 15° angle to prevent any build up of water or debris on the top of the door. The door frame is constructed from stainless steel in order to prevent corrosion.

Available with a variety of safety features, such as; light curtains, traffic lights and audio warnings this range is tested to fully comply with the relevant European safety standards. The doors can be operated by; radar sensor, induction loop, remote control or push button and can be interlocked to suit specific requirements.
